PART 5.0
♦ 1232 ♦The only thing Tory thought about was Xalia. Why did he tell her to go into the place behind but still inside his office? He thought it was going to be the only place that she would feel truly safe. But that was obviously a lie because now, Primo could tell that she was there with his double entendres and mixed messages.
Tory nearly collided with his door when it wouldn't open. What on earth.... He then remembered that you had to push the keyhole button but pull down at the same time. It was a security measure and it also stopped people from busting into his office, just like he had done. Seemed a pretty good idea then, but not now, Tory thought angrily.
The door finally seemed to agree with him and opened, but the victory was short lived as Tory flung it wide open so that it banged against the wall. He seemed to forget that he had done that action so whilst he was running into the midst of the room, he flinched at the sound.
He went straight to the hidden door. Well, not so hidden now if Primo could find it so quickly. Opening the door quickly, Tory checked inside and ran down the stairs to his garage. On his way down there, he didn't see any signs of a struggle or, the most important thing to why he was searching, Xalia.
Damn it all!
Tory, obliviously punching up bricks in his head, punching walls and cursing out everybody in the vicinity, didn't notice Percy coming in with a really worried look but sans coffee.
"Tory! Stellia told me that a guy that looked like me but with tattoos came here and left you a black letter. Was that Primo because-"
Percy was worried before but he was shocked now as he had never seen Tory spin around on the spot like that so fast. His eyes seemed to scan him whilst he was talking, then he cut him off.
"Where's my coffee."
Percy stopped and began stuttering. F**k, I knew I shouldn't have lied to Xalia. "U-um, I didn't g-get it but, I mean, I can go get it now? But hold up, that's not as important as what I was going to tell you-"
"All I asked for was coffee! It wasn't that hard, was it? I'm still having a bad day what with Primo coming here-" Tory had cut Percy off rudely but that didn't stop him. They just continued to talk over each other.
"I thought I saw somebody in a yellow Lamborghini with white and red rims, f**king nasty combo but their windows were rolled down and the person had tattoos and he-"
"-and his stupid little mixed messages and black letters. And also, he might have taken Xalia with him-"
"-waved whilst smiling at me, then drove off like really fast-"
"-wait, what?!"
"-what?!"
They finally heard themselves and stopped to look at each other. Tory was telling Percy something but in the process, he found out something new and very disturbing. Instead of keeping it in his head, he decided to talk it out to Percy as he walked behind his desk and leaned into the chair, exhausted but frustrated.
"So we've got this problem. Xalia told me about what happened with you two," Tory took a necessary pause but Percy didn't say anything. He just nodded and made a gesture so that he can continue, which he did. "And Primo came up to my office so she hid in the newly built stair well you had constructed for me-"
