Gryffindor for the win

Grace was sitting in the Gryffindor tent next to the field, trying to pay attention to Oliver, but her mind was wondering elsewhere. All she could think about was what her new prank could be. Maybe I could get everyone to wear their pajamas tomorrow, and convince the twins that they would lose their House points if they didn't... no, that was too amateur. She thought.

Then she came up with the perfect plan.  She was going to charm the Weasley twins, so that whatever they ate, tasted like copper. Plus, last night she had 'accidentally' overheard that the Weasleys were planning on setting off a series of stink bombs in the corridors. She could probably use that to her advantage too. Hermione had shown her the spell the other day, and all she had to do was change the word 'chocolate' to 'copper', and she already knew what to do for the stink bombs.

Grace smiled. After this prank, she would call off the prank war, so that she didn't have to keep watching over her shoulder for the twins to ambush her, because if she didn't someone was going to get hurt. Besides, Grace didn't think that Oliver would be too happy with her if she put Gryffindor's only two Beaters in the Hospital Wing.

"Grace? Did you hear what I just said?" asked Oliver. Angelina rubbed her eyes and sat up quickly, hopeing Oliver wouldn't notice that she had been fast asleep. Grace turned to Harry who just shrugged.

"Please take offense, Oliver, but you need to give a little 'pep' to your pep talks." George said, leaning back against the wall.

"Yeah, they're more boring than A History of Magic with Professor Binns." agreed Fred.

"Shush," said Oliver, waving his hand. "I want to see if Grace was listening."

Grace thought back to what Oliver had been repeating to her over and over, since they first found out about the game. "You were telling me that I had to pass, but still score as many goals as possible. I keep away from the Bludgers, and fly as fast as I can towards the goal posts."

Oliver leaned back. "Very good, Grace. I'm glad to see some people pay attention to what I tell them."

George raised an eyebrow at Grace, and Alicia laughed. "Nice save." she whispered, and Grace gave a thumbs up.

"Now, we're going to go out there, and give it our all, OK?" Oliver yelled. The team stood up, and put their hands together. "ONE! TWO! THREE! GRYFFINDOR!"

The team walked out onto the Quidditch pitch, and Grace was amazed. They had walked out onto thepitch many times in practices, and often times there was a few students watching, but it was never like this. The stands were completely filled, with students decked out in the Gryffindor red and yellow, and only the Slytherin section in green and silver. The stands were filled with chants being called out, but no one was as loud as the Gryffindor section.

"Nervous?" asked Alicia.

"A little... not really though. I'm more excited than anything. Do you think we could win?"

"I think we can, what with you and Harry on the team. Fred and George will keep us covered while we score goals, and while Harry looks for the Snitch. Sytherin are our biggest competitors. They are big ad strong, and play as dirty as possible. Just don't  let your gaurd down."

"Aw, don't listen to her Gracie. We've only missed the Bludgers a few times." said Fred, getting his  broom ready as Oliver and the Ravenclaw captain shook hands.

"Now mind you, the times we have missed them, players have ended up in the hospital wing!" George yelled laughing, as the Gryffindor team kicked off the ground and flew into the air.

As soon as the players were off the ground, the Quaffle was thrown into the air. Alicia caught  it and flew down the pitch, Angelina and Grace following her. When two of the Slytherin Chasers started moving in on her, Alicia threw the Quaffle back behind her. Grace let herself fall behind, and caught the Quaffle.
