(A/N: Ok so this is my first authors note in this book. I promise I'll only do them when i have something important to tell you. Anyway, as most of you know, Wattpad came out with a new update allowing you to add a pic/video from the app to your story. Well since I just updated I wanted to show you who I invision as Grace. The girl in the picture above⬆️⬆️ is who I imagine to be Grace. Her name is Leigh Anne Pinnock, and if you want to see more pics of her just search her online. Anyway, Grace I imagine to be like this, but with bigger eyes that are greenish gray, and to be fairer skinned. There are a few minor other things I imagine Grace to be, but this is generally her. Thx, now please, read on.)

-------------------------------------

The next morning Grace wakes up to the sound of a trunk falling on the ground.

"Shoot!" She hears a voice mumble.

Grace groggily open her eyes, wipping the sleep out of them.

"Sorry Grace." Lavender whispers. "I didn't mean to wake you up! I was trying to get to the bathroom so I could get ready and have everything ready early. But I ended up tripping over my own trunk."

"Don't worry about it." Grace yawned. "I was just about to get up anyway."

"Really?"

"No...but I've allways slept in because I've never had to be up super early. I should start waking up earlier."

"How about you take the bathroom first - I have to clean this up - and then I'll come in and use one of the other showers."

"You sure?"

"Positive."

Grace thanked Lavender and went into the bathroom. She took a quick shower, using some shampoo and conditioner that said will magically make curly hair untangled and softer. She used some nice face wash, and brushed her teeth and hair. She put some anti-frizz spray in her hair, and left her curly afro down. She then walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her.

Parvati and Hermione had woken up, and were getting their things out. Lavender had already gone into one of the showers.

Grace walked up to her bed and closed the curtain. She got out her robes and put them on. She kept her mothers necklace one, and the dragon ring.

She sat waiting for the other girls to be finished. Grace pulled out a book she had had for ages. Of course it was a muggle book, but Grace loved muggle books. Now, that might be because she had yet to read a wizard book, but still.

Soon Lavender was out and got changed. She, like Grace, hadn't done much to her hair. She had her hair done back in a side braid with a ribbon tied through it.

"I see you didn't do much to your hair either." Lavender smiled sitting down next to Grace on her bed, and smoothing out her skirt.

"Nah, I'll worry about that another day."

"Same." Lavender said touching her braid. "There's so many things in there."

Grace nodded.

"Anyway, what are you reading?"

"Oh....a muggle book. Its called Maximum Ride."

"Cool. Is it good?"

"Yea, really good. You can read it after me if you want."

"Wow! Thanks!"

Just then Hermione and Parvati walked out. Parvati's naturally straight hair was down, and Hermione had left hers down to.

"I see we all had the same idea." Grace giggled.

"Yea." Hermione smiled.

They left their room, and stood out in the common room. Gryffindors were running around everywhere, while others were leaving.

"Do you think Harry already left?" Grace asked.

"Probably." Parvati smiled.

Suddenly Grace saw Fred and George. "Just a second." She told the girls. They stopped and waited while Grace ran over to the boys.

Grace hadnt realized that they were with their friends. She stopped a little while away from them, and started heading back, before she heard Fred yell her name.

"Grace! C'mon over!"

The room went silent, and then people started whispering as Grace walked over towards Fred and George.

"Hi." Grace said. "Um...well, have you seen Harry? Like, has he left yet, or.."

"Haven't seen him yet."

"Probably still in bed asleep."

"You girls are awake pretty early, for Gryffindor standards."

"Everyone here was either forced awake, or never fell asleep."

"Although, there are a few who did wake up early."

"Anyway, do you girls know the way down to the Great Hall?"

"Um.. I think so." Grace said twisting a piece of hair around her finger. "Actually, I don't, not yet. Just a second."

Grace waved the other girls over, and when she asked them if they knew the way, they all shook their heads.

"Well we can show you girls the way. Then we have to come back up. We wouldn't want Harry to be waiting here all day, now would we?" George grinned.

"Follow us!" Fred yelled marching. George joined in, while the girls just walked.

They eventually got to the Great Hall. Fred and George were right. There weren't many people there yet.

The girls walked over to the table they remembered to be the Gryffindor table. There was a tall boy at the end of the table, who must have been a seventh year. The Ravenclaw table was half full, the Hufflepuff one empty. The Slytherin one had maybe twenty people, and the staff table was filled. The looked around, inspecting the students here.

"Where do we sit?" Hermione asked.

"I'm sure it doesnt matter..does it?" Parvati asked curiously.

"I don't think so... I mean yesterday it didn't really." Grace shrugged.

"Yea, but yesterday we were all new, and everyone was already seated." Lavender pointed out.

"It doesnt matter. Let's just sit here, and if we're told to move, then we move." Grace grinned sitting down.

"You sure?" Parvati asked sitting down.

"I'm sure it's fine. Besides, I doubt anyone would tell Grace to move; she's like a celebrity." Lavender giggled.

Grace blushed shrugging. Slowly people started filing into the Great Hall. Fred and George entered with their friends laughing, sitting next to them, and Parvati who felt awkward sitting next to the noisy Fred and George, switched with Grace. The more people that came, the more people that stared at Grace, pointed and whispered. Then Harry and Ron came in, sitting across from Grace.

"Hi Grace." Harry smiles.

"Hey Harry. Sleep well?" Grace smiled.

"Not really."

"Hello Ron! How are you? Did you sleep well?" Ron grinned.

Grace laughed. "Hey Ron. How are you? Did you sleep well?"

"Im fantastic this morning! I slept wonderfully! Thank you for asking!"

The girls and Harry all laughed.

Soon the Great Hall was full and loud. The breakfast appeared on the plates, and they finished them in no time at all.

Grace, Lavender, Parvati and Hermione all went back to their dorms to grab their books. They gathered them all up, along with quills and ink, and then left the common room.
