We arrived at my apartment building and I cannot move.
"Katie, are you ok?" Joey asked.
"Not really, I'm really scared." I answer.
"Do you want to stay in the car with me?"
"Please?"
LUKE'S POV
"I'm going to stay in the car with Katie." Joey said. She's probably scared, I wouldn't blame her. There is someone inside that building that wants to kill her.
"Ok." I said. Ingrid, Meghan, Jimmy and I turned around and began to go into the building.
We got into the elevator and slowly went up to the floor where Katie's apartment is.
"Well, here it is." I whispered. Jimmy slowly lifted up his fist and knocked on the door.
"Coming!" We heard Landon yell. He's not suspecting a thing. When he opened the door, the look on his face was priceless, he was so dumfounded.
"What are, when, how?" He said.
"We got in the car and drove here... DUH." Meghan said. I grabbed Landon and we all moved into the apartment.
"Why?!" I asked.
"What?" Landon asked.
"Why kill Katie?!"
"Cos she's in the way." Landon truthfully answered.
"Of what?" I asked.
"Of Joey." We all looked at him with a confused look. "I'm gay, and I like Joey, and I don't want her, because he might date her instead of me." He said. Good think he doesn't know that they're already dating.
"That's so stupid!" Jimmy said.
"No it's not!"
"It really is." Jimmy said.
"Yeah, what if Joey isn't even gay!?" Meghan agreed.
"Well..."
"Exactly, you didn't think of that did you!?" Meghan said.
"Go get Joey." Landon demanded.
"No, why?" I answered.
"Get, Joey." He said. Ingrid's left to get Joey.
A few minutes later, Ingrid arrived back with Joey and Katie.
"Joey." Landon said.
"What?"
"Are you gay?" He asked.
"No! In fact I'm..." He cut himself off.
"In fact you're what?" Landon asked. Joey just stood there thinking for a second before answering.
"In fact, I'm dating someone." He replied.
"Who?"
JOEYS POV
What do I say, do I tell the truth, and possibly put Katie's life at risk, or lie and let him find out later, and suffer a greater consequences myself...
"Katie.." I mumbled.
"Who?"
"Katie..." I mumbled slightly louder.
"Who!?"
"KATIE!" I yelled.
"I knew it! I. Knew. It." He said. "Now I have more the reason to kill you." He said facing Katie.
"Leave me alone!" She said.
"Landon, I'm calling the police to come and arre..." I was cut off buy him pushing Katie and I over and running away. Luke goes to help us, but I stop him.
"CATCH HIM!" I yelled. Luke ran off after Landon.
2 MINUTES LATER
We're sitting in the middle if Katie's couch silently waiting to Luke. Suddenly the door opens and a very tired Luke is standing in the doorway.
"He escaped... He's gone.." He said in between panting. Landon is still out there, still wanting to kill Katie. He's still out there somewhere.
