KATIE'S POV

I probably should tell Joey... I've known about this since just before he broke up with me, and if I don't tell him now, he'll notice it on his own and get mad at me....

JOEYS POV

Today's the day. I'm gonna ask Katie if she's ready to date again. I would be lying if I told you I wasn't scared she would say no, I just have to hope for the best.

"Katie!" I yelled as I saw her going up stairs.

"Yeah." She said walking back down. "I have to tell you something." She said.

"Me too."

"You first." She insisted. Ok Joey, it's not hard, she'll say yes... I think.

"Are you ready to date me again?" I asked.

"Of course Joey!" She said giving me a hug. See Joey, that wasn't too hard.

"Your turn." Her face immediately dropped. Oh no.

"Come sit." She said walking over to the couch. We both sat down and she waited a second before she spoke.

"Joey, first of all, please don't be mad because I hadn't told you sooner. And second of all, I understand if you don't want it..." She started.

"Where is this going?" I asked. She took a deep breath.

"Joey. I'm pregnant." The words replayed over and over in my head like a broken record.

"Is it.. M mine?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said not looking at me. I don't know how to take this.

"I'm sorry I did this to you!" She said as she started crying. I came over and hugged her.

"Shh, shh. It's ok, you didn't do this to me. It's ok, I'm excited." I told her.

"Y you are?" She questioned.

"Yes."

"Thank you Joey."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier, when did you find out?" I asked.

"I didn't tell you because I found out the day we broke up..." She said. A pang of guilt ran through my body.

"Well, I'm sorry for that, it must have been hard for you.." I said. We stayed hugging for hours.

Sorry bout the short chapter.

Anyways, I've been thinking about making another fanfic with Joey and Sawyer, and still continue this one.
