I know at least one of you feels depressed. Sees no point in moving, reading, talking, living, breathing. I know how you feel, and I'm not going to tell you tomorrow you're going to wake up and feel perfectly better. Tomorrow you'll finally be happy. Honestly, it might not be tomorrow. Hell, it might not be until next year.
But remember your lil brother/sister/cousin/etc who asked you that question that sent tingles up your arms?
Imagine one day, he/she is covering her arms. They can't bare anyone to see their horrible memories.
There might not be a lot of light in this world, but darling I can assure you that you are the brightest of them all. You might say no, I'm wrong, but someone loves you. Whether it be me or your family. Even though they say the meanest of things without realizing, remember I love you even if you don't think so. I LOVE YOU.
You have so much more purpose in the world.
Additionally, think before. Think about telling the person you love. The kids see and ask what are they? You take a road trip with your year old cousin, and it's July and you can't possibly wear long sleeves, and you sit by him and he looks at your arms and he asks "Whats on your arms?" He doesn't even know what scars are! He has no idea. And one day he's going to know and knowing your cousin did it, it makes him think it helps and he can do it too.
Please. Take my words wisely. Nothing feels worse than admitting to your mom you used to hurt yourself. Nothing hurts worse than telling her you feel so miniscule and worthless, the world is better off without you. Nothing is worse than admitting how bad you feel. My message box is always open.
