I named her middle name Violet after Violet Harmon and if you know who Violet Harmon is I love you

I didn’t know anyone in this area, and the ones I did know didn’t like me. When Liam walked in, waving lightly, taking a seat I was surprised. “Hi Liam,” I said. I didn’t expect him. Soon I heard slow pained steps into my room, and Liam waving someone in. A mop of blonde hair was the first thing I saw. I didn’t know whether to say hello or chew him out. Adrianna stood up, and announced, “Well, I need a coffee. How about you, Liam?”

Liam didn’t understand she was trying to get me and Niall alone, but he agreed. I didn’t blame him; he looked like the walking dead. “Be back, Niall.” Niall nodded, and jittered in your seat.

“Hi,” I murmured, quiet so Kennedy wouldn’t wake up. “How are you?” I didn’t want to be nice - espeically now that we were alone and I could chew his ass to shreds. It was willpower - something I lost.

“Er, good, how are you doing?” He picked at a cuticle, trying not to disturb me. I wasn’t sure if I hated his guts, or I loved him, and it was very hard to tell.

“I’m fine, she’s fine.” I held back long enough, and my body couldn’t stop. “Why did you leave me?” I hoped he didn’t hear, but I was sure he did. He only starred at his shoes.

“I know. I know. I’m sorry. I’m really, really sorry. I should have grown some balls and stood up to management. I should have fucking told them no, but I didn’t. I wasn’t there for you, and I left you, and I was wrong. I never meant any of it and I’m sorry it tore you up, I should have stood up for you -”

“Okay.” I stopped him. He looked like a sad lost puppy. I lifted Kennedy up lightly. “Do you want to see her?” He unsurely nodded, and walked over to the bed. I scooted over, and patted next to me. He stared at the spot as if the alarm were about to go off. I laughed, “I’m not that old they need to keep watch on me. Hell, this is the baby floor, not crazy floor.” He smiled, and I saw his teeth. Those braces were still on there.

I lifted Kennedy up, and placed her in his lap. He took his IPhone out with the one free hand, and snapped a picture of him holding her. “She’s really beautiful, just like you.” I didn’t thank him or smile and blush. I lightly nodded.

“I missed you. I really, really missed you,” Niall said with a half smile half frown.

“Ditto. I love you still,” I laughed while saying it. It was stupid. He left me, even if it wasn’t his choice. I needed him and he wasn’t there. I wiped my forehead casually but really I was shaking from the inside out. That was when I realized I was crying. It wasn’t real crying, it was the stupid baby tears. I had nothing to cry about.

Wiping the tears away, Niall laid his head on my shoulder and held her up for us to see. Her head hung low, and she lifted her arm lightly as if she wanted to wipe her nose, but it was absurd because she couldn’t wipe her nose; she was a baby.

She wasn’t even 2 days old. She was born in the USA just like her mommy and auntie. Even though she’ll spend most likely the rest of her life in England.

Liam came back with a pink basket. It had pink lace and the pink handle and there were a few things inside of it. He tried to smile but failed; he was so tired he could not smile. “Go home, go to bed,” I said. “I’ll still be here. Don’t worry.” I laughed while he put the basket on the bed next to me.
