We began driving down the road, a nice road. People waved to us, and we pulled in the house's car lot at the end of the street. I gapped at the house. It was huge, and huge isn't a right word. It looked identical to every other house on the street. Adrianna said our stuff was already inside as if we lived here. She told me she unpacked it all already. She gave me the bedroom on the bottom floor while she had second.
The neighbors next door waved to us, and greeted us. They sat around some candles. I saw there were two older parents, a daughter who seemed my age or slightly older, and a son maybe 15.
I ran into the house, past the table and chairs on our porch. I walked into a huge room, 2 in one. On my immediate left was a kitchen. A marble countertop, stainless steel fridge, stainless steel sink, beautiful wooden cabinest about the sink, under the bar. There was 4 stools around a bar in the kitchen, seperating it from the living room.
On my right was a living room, extended around the kitchen, forming a L shape. In front of the kitchen was a video game set, and continueing between the television with a L shaped couch in front of it, was a hallway.
I went down the hall, and walked past a closet of new and old coats. The next door was on the right, a bathroom. A bath tub, shower, toilet, deluxe sink. I kept walking and the last door was my room. It was plain, one window with red and white checkered covers. A big queen bed in the middle of the room when you open it. Next to that was a dresser, fully wooden. There was a bedside table, and right by the door a TV stand and a television.
I went up the stairs, thankful I didn't have to go up these a billion times a day. I was about to be a 18 year old lazy girl with a belly swollen to up to 5 times my head. Stairs would murder me.
There was another bathroom, a library full of books, Adriannas room, very identical to mine, except mine sheets on the bed are blue, her's pink. After that was a storage room, basically all child memories. I went back downstairs, and decided I could eat.
"Adrianna, I'm hungry." She smiled, and told me go out to the car. I sat in the passenger seat while she drove to a restaurant, Nando's. I smiled wildly when I saw it in sight.
"Why are you all happy?" Adrianna asked munching a fry. "You been like that since you found out we were going to Nando's."
"It's Niall's favorite restaurant," I said with a huge smile.
"You miss him, don't you?"
"So much." I finished my chicken and smiled. He was right. This food was good. "I want to do that interview, so can you call the agents tonight and have them set it up for like 2 weeks since the boys are doing an interview tomorrow?"
She began to give me a lecture, but I told her just this one interview, that's it. She eventually agreed.
Before we went home, Adrianna took me shopping. I bought blue hair dye, and blonde so I would have blonde hair with blue tips. She bought me a lot of okay looking dresses.
We bought tons of food. Basically the whole store.
Before we left, we saw our neighbors at check out. "Hello!" they smiled. The boy walked up to me, and winked. The girl hit him in the back of the head. "You're our new neighbors, right?" the older man asked. The woman had bleached blonde hair, with brown highlights. The man had gray hair. They looks like they were rich. The girl my age had brown hair, along with her brother who kept checking me out.
"Yes, we just moved in."
"You'll like it a lot," she smiled and looked at her husband. "Oh how rude of me! This is Jason," she gestured to her son who winked and did the call me sign. I mouthed 'maybe'. (Call Me Maybe pun). "Nyxinia," she pointed at her daughter who smiled and mouthed an apoligy for her brother. "And I'm Nina, he's Bob."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Adrianna, and this is Andrea my sister." I was waiting for them to be astonished and say, McDonald? OMG needa tweet this ! but they didn't.
They said goodbye and finished their checkout. We finished shopping. When we finally got home, Nina sent her son and daughter to help with all the groceries. "Thank you so much," I said with a smile.
"No problem. Hey we should hang out sometime," Nyxinia said to me. I nodded. "Tomorrow?"
"I'd love to, but I wanna watch an interview around 8. Wanna watch it with me?" She nodded, and smiled. She pushed her brother out the door and waved bye. She'd be here around 12 to go to the cafe with me.
Adrianna approved of me making friends, and she hugged me before I slept for the first time in this house, this room, this bed.
