The next morning I rolled out of bed and figured out how to use the shower. Adrianna wasn't there to tell me how to, so I figured it our myself. Heat poured out the faucet and I felt it slide down my cold body. Once I got out, I dressed myself, and did my makeup. Nyxinia was supposed to come over anytime today. She said early, so I supposed soon. I was right.

When I exited the shower I heard her talking to my sister.

"So, where do you guys plan to go today?" Adrianna asked. With saying that, I imagined her leaning against the door frame as if she was talking to a boy taking me for dinner. I hardly even imagined it at all.

"We're going to a cafe, and I'll tell her about this place." Exiting the room, we began to leave. Adrianna called her good byes, while we piled into her bug.

When we got to the cafe, she ordered a large coffee, and a half box of a dozen donuts. I ordered a hot cocoa, with mint flavor. We shared the donuts.

"So why did you move here? What happened?" Immediatley, a cliche story idea popped into my head.

"My sister decided she wanted to live in England so yep, here we are." Nyxinia choked a laugh back, and gripped the edge of the table.

"Every single person on our street has a story. A special reason you were moved here. The FBI moved you here and you are sort of apart of witness protection. So, why are you here?” She stirred her coffee, and the cream swirled around. "I'll tell you why I am."

Everyone on my street had a story? Juicy gossip, perhaps. "I was ... kidnapped." She leaned back as if she heard it a million different times. As if it were as common a how often you spoke. "With One Direction." She leaned up on her elbows, holding her cup in her hands at her lips.

"Oh, I thought that was you!" I smiled as if it meant I were famous. I put pressure on my cast and I leaned to the side. "So.. was it fun?" I looked at her with a weird look. Did she think this was cool? Did she think I enjoyed it? "Let me rephrase - was it fun hanging out with them, besides everything else?"

"Well not really. We barely talked."

"Are the rumors true?"

"What rumors?" I asked, sipping hot cocoa. The tiny marshmellows slid down my throat. Raising an eyebrow, she giddily smiled.

"About you and the blonde cutie. Niall." My cheeks turned all shade of red, I'm sure of it. My breathing hitched, and I knew if I did even try to lie to Nyxinia, she'd know I was lying.

"I don't know. What were the rumors?"

"That you two were like a couple."

Shrugging, I mumbled, "I don't know."

"C'mon. Sometime you'll HAVE to tell me." I smiled, defeatedly, and looked outside through the coffee shop's windows. It was getting dark. In sync with me, Nyxinia checked her phone, and I watched the eyes pop out of her sockets. "It's 7:27!" My eyes widened. We raced out of coffee shop and into her car. I watched the scenery pass by as she drove away. Honesty, the cafe wasn't far from the houses. We drove up a final hill and our houses came into view. It was a 6 minute ride. We walked into my house, and she took a seat on the seat. I grabbed a beer for Adrianna who was chatting with Nyxinia.
