Chapter 15

Home.
That's the first thought Melissa had when she appeared in front of Malfoy Manor. To most people the house seemed cold and unwelcoming a bit daunting because here she was a small little girl standing in front of a three story mansion. But no Melissa welcomed it and embraced it because to her it felt like home. Like a lost piece of her had finally been found and it had. Her family!

Walking through the big tall iron gates hand in hand with her newly found father she looked at the 5 acre garden full with bushes, roses and waterfalls. It's beautiful, she thought. The long driveway went all the way up to the largest water fountain at the top of the drive. Beyond that Melissa was able to see the large double oak door separating her from the family reunion. Her father went first and opened the heavy oak doors proceeding inside the lightly lit mansion, Arabella was met with hand painted pictures moving of course ,a hand woven carpet stretching the length of the entrance area. Above her head was a gigantic crystallised chandelier emitting a warm light into the room. To her sides openings led of to different compartments of the house. But what astounded Arabella the most was the grand staircase leading up to the first floor and sitting nervously on the bottom step was the same woman from Madam Malkins's. Narcissa Malfoy...

"Cissa sweetheart i have a surprise for you" Lucius greeted. The pale brunette looked up to be met with a reflection of her own eyes and lets just say they were just as teary. Narcissa couldn't believe it for years she had been looking for the lost Malfoy and now on Christmas Day here she was all safe and sound, she couldn't help the lonesome tear drop from her eyes and down her cheek. She was speechless was it all a dream her baby girl home, it seemed to good to be true.
"Mother" called a uncertain Arabella from her fathers side, and that one word snapped Narcissa Malfoy out of her trance as she stood up and scooped her daughter into her arms. "I thought I lost you, i thought you were dead." Narcissa sobbed. Arabella however embraced her mother, because she too had missed this warmth feeling that she felt right now. "I missed you to mum, dad". For the first time in years Lucius Malfoy smiled...

"Cetty what are you doing here" a voice called. Arabella released herself from the hug with her parents. She looked up following the sound of the voice to be met with the famous Malfoy smirk. "Merry Christmas Dra-" Arabella called "- thanks for the card by the way!" Draco finished walking down the stairs and looked at his father with curiosity. This was a new thing for Draco a muggle born in Malfoy Manor exchanging pleasantries with his parents. "Draco meet your sister Arabella Narcissa Malfoy" Lucius said his smile still clung to his face and his chest was puffed with pride. "What, your my sister" Draco's face showed bewilderment it was highly unusual for a pureblood family to have 2 heirs. "Dra it turns out that I'm your twin sister, the Kingsley's were old servants and kidnapped me. It all makes sense..." Arabella whispered the last part as realisation dawned on her pale features. "What makes sense sweetheart" Narcissa called. "At Ollivanders he said i had the same wand as my mother and the sorting hat said that all my family were Slytherins" "You never said you were a Slytherin" her mother spoke Lucius's face became even more proud. "Yes she's a Slytherin and the best one there is top of the class in everything!" Draco said proudly he was good friends with Cetty or Arabella now but due to blood status he never admitted it but now he could. He was proud to call Arabella his sister. "Wow i bet Severus likes you then" "yea he enjoys giving me points" Arabella said matter of factly. "Now I'm going to take Arabella up to her new room and help her settle in Draco we will be opening presents in 40 minutes" "Yes mother oh and sis Merry Christmas and Welcome Home.."
