Chapter 16

Standing in her bedroom Arabella was bewildered with the grandness of the room. The walls were all painted green in honour of Slytherin she guessed, and a grey carpet. Across from the door was 2 separate doors that led out onto a huge balcony fenced of with black on silver patterned fences, on that balcony a small elegant white table stood with 2 matching chairs for sitting in. Back inside 2 more doors led of to other rooms. The first door led of to a glorious bathroom its tiles gave the bathroom a vintage look in the middle was a white standing bath with old taps. A separate shower was in the corner with jet streams and all the newest technology and a toilet and sink stood near the door. However through the other keyhole was a magnificent walk in wardrobe full to the brink of heels, jewellery dress robes and ordinary clothes it was a wardrobe fit for a princess. Back in the bedroom a huge 4 poster bed with silk curtains took up most of the room with plump pillows and a velvet green duvet. A small vanity dressing table and mirror was beside the bed equipped with the best of makeup brands, and to Arabella's delight a large bookshelf full of books.

"Do you like it" Cissa enquired. However it was a good few minutes before Arabella finally spoke since she was still bewildered by the room. "It's beautiful i love it thank you so much" Arabella squealed as she ran forward and hugged her mother tightly nearly bringing tears to her mothers eyes again. "And the clothes are exquisite are you sure it's all for me!" To Arabella it seemed to be to good to be true it truly was the best Christmas ever. She went of to Raya and Eve and released the pair of them for a bit of fresh air. "Ahh who are these beauty's?" Cissa asked."This is Raya my pet owl and this is Eve my new kitten" "They're beautiful, now I'm gonna leave you to settle in and in 15 minutes come to the lounge to open presents if that's alright with you" "i..i get presents too!!" Arabella called astonished at the amount she is recieving in one day. "Yes you are sweetheart if you need anything don't think twice about calling a house elf they will help you find your way to the living room!" She replied quickly giving her lost daughter another hug and kiss she strolled out of the room to find her husband.

As soon as her mother was far enough away Arabella lept onto get feet and jumped on the bed. Who could resist those velvet fabrics and plump pillows after all it is her room. Eve was not short to follow and bounced on her own little cat bed by Arabella's bed. A laughing sensation over came Arabella and before you knew it she was in fits of laughter this was the best Christmas ever she thought. Pulling on a quick jacket she opened her balcony doors and entered the balcony overlooking the snow covered gardens it was a sight for a queen. Snow covered tree after tree and rose after rose. Arabella finally felt at home.

After 13 minutes she called a house elf to guide her to the living room. She had never seen one before and was disgusted as a scary looking elf with giant ears materialised from air to help its master. No words were exchanged as Arabella was guided down to the living room descending the stairs as graceful as a princess once they had arrived the little elf bowed before leaving in a hurry. Rude. She thought. She carefully turned the brass handle and opened the door to be faced with the most incredible tree she had ever seen. It was decorated with the finest of ornaments magical and non magical. Photos decorated the tree of family members and two babies which Arabella thought looked like her and Dra. To the left of the room another roaring green fire warmed the room and sitting on a plush black sofa sat her mother and father hand in hand with smiles on their faces. It was a wonderful sight to the eye. Her father patted a seat next to him and she didn't hesitate to be wrapped in another hug from her father. 3 minutes later they were joined by Draco and the presents began.

Draco went first and opened up his presents from friends and family. Sapphire got him a Quidditch book and animated snitch since she knew he liked that, Crabbe and Goyle got him a range of wizardry sweets. From his sister he got a new cauldon which set Draco of into a fit of laughter whilst recieving confused faces of their parents. Arabella went next recieving sweets of Crabbe and Goyle, a beautiful set of the newest books from Sapphire from her brother she got a heart locket and from her newly found parents she received the newest broomstick and a large set of robes. At 6:00 the family joined together for a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings and desert of course.

"I love you Arabella our little princess" spoke Lucius as they gathered once again in the living room.The evening ended besides the fire as a family they all cuddled up together watching the fire flick on and the snow blaze outside. To the Malfoys it truly was a magical Christmas...
