"Come on guys! Hurry up!" I said with excitement

"Hold on. We aren't as well in shape as you."

"Hey! Speak for yourself! I'm fine." My friend's argued.

Cheri. My friend well actually cousin. She possibly the toughest and smartest person I know. Well other than me anyway. She doesn't really play a sport. She's to busy. She tires easily but when it comes to strength she's awesome.

Jake. Also my cousin. He's a joker. Possibly the best. He plays soccer. Actually the captain of a team actually. He always wants to be the best. I'm probably the real competition for him. He right now may seem capable of doing it all but you can see he's dying.

"Jake you can't tell me that you don't want at least a little break." Cheri said

"No I don't. I'm fine." He argued

"Guys! Less arguing and more pedaling!" I said

"Why are we in such a rush? It's just a party. It's not like it's going anywhere. " Cheri said

"Cheri! Do you remember who's party it is?" Jake said sternly. Which caused Cheri to have a guilty look on her face.

"I'm sorry Casey. I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine. I don't expect you guys to uderstand what I'm going through. " I replied

I pushed my bike forward and kept going.

"Casey!" She shrieked

"Sarah! How are you?" I said as I picked her up.

"I'm great. Are you gonna stay for the party? I'm finally 5 years old!" She asked happily

"Yes. I'm staying for the party." I said

"Casey?" I turned around.

"Max." I said as I put Sarah down.

"Are you really here?"

"Yeah, pal I'm here." I replied and he ran towards me and gave me a hug.

"I've missed you so much." He said

"Me too buddy. Me too." I said as I received warmsmiles from every one.

I stayed and played with the children. I talked with the adults. I saw it all. I just tried not to think about how I'd soon have to leave.

Until I was the only one left at the party.

"Do you have to leave?" Sarah asked

"Yeah, I do."

"Why?" She asked with sorrow

"One day you'll understand why." I replied

" Why do they do this?" I turn to look at Max

"You do know why." I said

"Well its stupid!"

"Hey! Don't say that. I'm working on it." I said

"Here I have something for you guys." I say as I walk over and pull out a bag from the closet.

I hand Sarah a box with a huge red bow on it. She takes it and sits down. She pulls off the lid. Her face is struck with awe.

"A tablet?" Max asked. I smiled and hand him a smaller box that looks the same.

He looks at me and I nod. He takes off the lid.

"A phone?"

"Yeah." I said

"Why?"

"We couldn't really talk because you know Cheri's family is on a tight budget. Now we can."

"Wait who's paying for the service?" He asked

"I am. Just like how I payed to get that tablet and phone." I replied

"How long did you have to work for this?"

"Longer than usual but it's worth it." I said

I hugged them one last time and left. Cheri lead me out and said.....

"see you in a few months."

I nodded and got on my bike and left.
