Kids screaming. Running in the hallway. Banging on lockers. Yep just another normal morning at Lincoln middle school.
I see Kevin and Hope at my locker. I walk over and find them with huge smiles on there faces.
"Hey guys!" I say with a smile as well.
"Looks like someone's in a good mood." Kevin states
"Are you in a good mood?" Hope asks
"Yep. Last week was great and so has everything else."
"OK that's great because it makes this a whole lot better." Hope says
"Why?"
"Just wait." Kevin says with a smirk
The bell rings and we go to class.

The whole day was great! We had group work in every class so lots of fun. Technically speaking there was no work done at all. It was great and now it's lunch.
I got there to see all my friends (the guys and Hope) sitting there with one open seat at the table, in the middle. They all had huge smiles placed on their faces. I walked over and sat down slowly with my guard up. No offense but they are guys.
"Hey....... guys. ......" I said slowly while looking under the table for security reasons.
"Hey Casey." Kevin said
"We have something for you." Then he pulled out his back pack. He unzipped it and pulled out a box. It was long but wide. He handed it to me. I just looked at him and he nodded at me signaling to open it. I took off the lid.
"An art set? Why?" He just grinned then every one else came with gifts.
"Art set. Soccer ball. Barcelona jersey. Dog tag. Wolf phone case. A journal. A stuffed animal (dog).-" Hope cut me off.
"And a camera with its case and mini tripod." She started
"Yeah you make artwork but I remember just how good you were at capturing it." I just smiled
"But why?"
"You've been at this school for a month and you've made great progress." Kevin answered
"We just felt you deserved something." Carlos said
"Thank you guys so much."
"Don't thank us. Thank Kevin. He planned everything." Another guy (Michael) said
I looked at Kevin and he was busy talking with Hope. I smiled. Looks like I found my first good friend in years. Probably my best friend. After that we enjoyed our selves an went on with our day. I had lots of pictures to take.
After a few more classes the day was practically over. Now it was break and I went over to the soccer field. Kevin was there. I hugged him.
"Woah! What's this for?" He asked
"For everything." I said still hugging him.
Then I was yanked off.
"What are you doing?"
"Hey what would you do that for? Are you alright Casey?" Kevin said going towards me. He was pushed back and I got up.
"Leave James." I said staring at him. He didn't notice because his eyes were fixed on Kevin.
"Leave!"
"NO!" He yelled back
"Hey James-" Kevin started
"You better shut up. Just listen to me right now. You better stay away from her or else-" this time Kevin was the one cutting someone off.
"Or else what? You gonna try to make me feel bad. Are you gonna leave me in a time of crisis. Guess what? I already had one. Can't do me the way you did her." Then James swung.
Kevin fell and started bleeding. I immediately came and stepped in front of him.
"Get out the way Casey."
"Still don't know me, huh? Well let me show you." I punched James twice in his face and then pushed him to the ground. Then Kaitlin came running.
"What the heck? Why-"
"Just keep your boyfriend away from me or I promise you. He won't live to see what high school he'll goes to." I said viciously
"Why you son of a-" she said as she got up
I instantly slapped her.
"That's 2. 1 more and your out." I said Then I helped Kevin up and we went home
