"Please try harder Miss Rodriguez."
"Yes sir." I replied as I turned to leave the principals office.
I walked out onto the hallway. I kept my eyes on the ground with my hood on.
Then I looked up.....
The library. I walked in. It's only electives I'm missing, no big deal right?
I pulled out my journal and started drawing.
"That's really cool."
I stopped instantly and closed my journal.
"Go away." I said viciously
"Wait." He pleaded
As he grabbed my arm gently and turned me around. He looked down at my journal.
"Hey isn't this your favorite poem, on the cover?" He stated
"What does it matter?" I said emotionless
"Yeah. I remember you told me." He replied
"Just go away." I repeated
"Look Casey-"
"No!" I cut him off
"I don't want anything to do with you." I said and left
