2) Stalking

Claire-

She couldn't do it! She chickened out! She couldn't show up at Saito's house. Instead, she came back to the cabin. Demitri and Luna aren't here, so she's staying here.

And now she's stalking Saito again. She shouldn't be stalking him like this. But she can't help it. It's weird, and Saito probably knows she's following him around. How can she approach him? How can she tell him she has run away from home?

Currently, Saito and his family are having a get-together at the park. Claire isn't sure how to approach them. She peeks from being a tree. Saito was lying on a blanket with Sapphire crawling over him. He looks good with a child. Saito is going to be a great father.

She shivered and looked back; some people were looking at her strangely. Her face got hot. They must think she's a creeper. She better leave.

As she was about to leave, arms wrapped around her waist, Claire shivered.

"Why are you stalking me?" Saito asked. "Why don't you just come and say hi?" He kissed her cheek.

Claire didn't even sense him. She sighed and glanced back at him. She turned around to ace him. "I'm not stalking you; who said I was?" She groaned as she nibbled the base of her neck.

"You're such a bad liar," he whispered against her neck. "You have been stalking since the beginning of this month."

She pushes his face away. "It's my job. Did you forget?"

"No," he grinned. "This stalking seems different. What's wrong?"

His good. Claire may as well tell him. She looks away. "I ran away from home."

"Oh?" The corners of his mouth twitch. "Don't you mean you flew away from home?." She gasped and turned away from him, crossing her arms. He laughed and leaned against the tree. "I'm sorry, hey, don't be mad." He cups her face. "You're beautiful."

There's no reason to wear a mask. Claire leaned in for a kiss, but a gasp interrupted them.

"She's your soulmate?" Luna blink. "The angel is your soulmate." She slaps her cheeks and gasps. "I can't believe this."

"Hi," Claire smiled nervously. "Um, I'm almost close to achieving our objective."

"Oh," Luna smiled. "Good, Lunic has been a little frantic."

"Did I miss something?* Saito asked.

Right, Saito doesn't know. Luna hasn't told him. And she probably won't, not yet.

Claire doesn't want to keep secrets from Saito. But Lunic is a delicate situation. One wrong move and Luna could end up dead alongside Lunic. She must stay quiet.

"Nothing," Luna said. "It's girl talk."

Saito rolled his eyes.

"Well, aren't you going to introduce her?"

Claire isn't sure she's ready to meet them. She did try to kill Luna. But Claire wants to be part of their family. She wants them to know she's not going to kill anyone.

Saito sighed. "Come."

It seems she's going to meet them either way. She held Saito's hand. She's getting nervous that she's hiccupping. She cover her mouth. Saito chuckled.

Once she was in front of them, she felt unwelcome and out of place. Luther knew what Claire was. He stood and growled. Saito stood between her and Luther. She's glad Saito is protecting her.

"I know you," Luther said.

Claire didn't think Luther knew who she was. Heck, she hasn't told Saito her name.
