44) Real Wedding!!!

Claire smiled. It's solved her nausea and why she's been so ill. There was one rod inside of her body affecting her connection to Aire. The rod was lodged deep within her womb; she had to undergo surgery to get it removed. She was so worried they opened her up, and Savannah was there to watch the procedure. She used her magic to keep the baby from being injured.

They checked her body for more rods, but there was none. And now Claire is feeling so much better. She does have the occasional nausea, but not like before.

And now Claire is getting married. Saito had proposed to her two months ago, after her surgery after she had recovered. Saito had set everything up in the backyard; she thought it was a welcome home from the hospital party. But it wasn't.

It was magnificent, with candles and red rose petals all over the snowy ground. Snowflake lights hanging above with icicle lights created a Winterland vibe. It was all so beautiful; there was a heart on the snow made of candles and roses. Saito stood in the middle; Claire knew what this party meant.

Saito got on one knee when she stepped into the circle surrounded by friends and half her family since she was missing her brothers and Skyler. And Xavier. Thinking about Xavier always brought her to tears.

Saito popped the question, and Claire said yes. And now, two months later, she's standing in front of a mirror, looking at her reflection. She wore a beautiful white wedding, a decent wedding dress off the shoulders with long decorative lace sleeves. A slight V shows enough cleavage for Saito to enjoy and enough to be respectful. The skirt was wide and layered with fabric; the final layer was lace with little teardrops embedded into the lace. Every time she moved, the light reflected upon those teardrops, giving the drops a beautiful shine.

She loves this dress; it's so appropriate, and her mother and Anita helped her choose it. Luna was there, too, and Lilly. She had finally come back with her husband, Dante. Yes, they married secretly, and Saito wasn't so happy, nor was Draven.

Either way, everyone important is here, even her brothers and Skyler. They use teleportation to get here. They'll only stay for the ceremony and after the party. Then they'll have to leave at night.

She rubs her baby bump. For two months, it was big, and for good reason. Twins. She and Saito are expecting twins. It was a shock to everyone. Apparently—having twins is a big thing in the Crimson clan.

"Oh, look at you! So beautiful, don't you think Irena? Your daughter is so beautiful," Anita smiled.

"Stunning," Irena fluffed the skirt.

"Thank you," Claire was getting emotional.

"Oh, now, let's not start crying; we don't want to ruin that makeup," Anita said. "Let's see, something white, something new, something old, and something blue, or in your case, pink."

Claire freed her wings and sighed.

"Let's get going," Irena opened the doors, and her father stood there, ready to walk her down that aisle.

Scott looked handsome in that black tuxedo with a white dress shirt beneath. "I expected more time with you; I didn't think I would be giving you away on your wedding day. But we still have plenty of time to rekindle our father-and-daughter relationship."

Claire did her best not to cry. "Yes." He kissed her cheek, gripped the front of the veil, and brought it over her face. The veil is a beautiful two-piece with shimmer. She had always dreamed of a veil like this.

"You'll be a great wife and mother," Scott whispered in her ear.

Claire smiled. "Thank you."

"For?"
