One Word Can Mean So Much (On Hold)

Chapter 1

Garroth pov:
I was on patrol with Zenix when all of a sudden I see a beautiful young woman with long black hair and sparkling hazel eyes. I finally snapped back into reality when she started talking to me. "Hi my name is Aphmau and I was wondering if I can stay in this village?"
"O-of course, you are welcome to stay here as long as you'd like."
"Thank you so much. I have been looking for a home for awhile. I have been in the woods for nine weeks."
I felt so bad for Aphmau.
"I am sorry to hear that. Until you make a home for yourself, you are welcome to stay with me as long as you'd like."
I suddenly realized what I just said and knew right then and there this is going to be a big mistake.
"I would love to stay with you, thank you ,thank you!"
Aphmau quickly pulled me into a hug, I was so shocked at first I didn't know what to do so I decided to hug her. When she let go I started to feel my cheeks go warm. luckily I'm wearing my helm. I started showing Aphmau around the village. I showed her Kawaii Chan's cafè, I than showed her the farm house then I led her to my house. My house was on top of a hill in Phoenix Drop. It was a navy blue home with two floors. Aphmau's jaw dropped when we stepped foot inside.

Aphmau pov:
I was shocked when garroth led me throught the front door. The house was amazing. The kitchen had lovely Granit counters and an island in the middle. The living room had a two seater couch and a coffee table in front of it. Garroth then showed me up stairs. It had a large bathroom and one grand room witch I assumed was Garroth's room. It had a king sized bed with an ice blue blanket with a black cross.
"This is were you will be sleeping and I will be sleeping on the sofa down stairs."
I looked at garroth and frowned. "No. I have seen that sofa and it is to small for you to sleep in. You can sleep with me because this your house. I might be the guest but that does not mean your going to suffer."

Garroth pov:
I was shocked at what aphmau said, she wants me to sleep with her, but that meens she might see my face. Do I trust her enough?

I have no choice. I will show her my face tonight because she is someone I trust and care for. Either way I'm living with the girl now.

After a couple of minutes talking to myself, I went to go patrol the village. When I started walking, I started to realize that the old wooden path was now smooth stone. I was shocked. It looked amazing, who could of done this. I looked around and saw Aphmau getting rid of the old wood planks and replacing it with smooth stone. I ran over to her and spun her around. I quickly put her down
"I'm sorry but this is amazing, you haven't even been here for one night and you're already fixing the old wooden paths."
She looked at me and smiled, a loving smile and said
"It was actually quite fine that you spun me around, but the old wooden paths looked awful no offence, so I decided to fix it."
I looked at her and smiled but I knew she couldn't see it because of the helm, so I decided to take it off. I don't know what encouraged me to do it but I did and when I did, her jaw dropped.
