Chapter 22

Aphmau pov:
I woke up with someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Garroth. I got up and he has a concerned look on his face.
"Why did you wake me up?"
"Because I heard something downstairs."
"Okay then go check."
"I know I just wanted to wake you up just in case."
I pushed Garroth off the bed and he landed on to his feet. Garroth grabbed his sword and opened the door then went downstairs. I heard a loud bang and I ran out of the room and quickly down the stairs. I saw Garroth on the floor and I ran to him and got down on my knees. He had a cut his face and it was bleeding.
"Are you okay?"
"Im fine but we have a bigger problem."
"Whats worse then you being hurt?"
"The person who attacked me is way worse."
"Who atacked you!?"
"Zenix..."
"What! I thought he was trapped in the nether?"
"Well apparently someone opened a nether portal."
"But who?"
"I don't know but if Zenix is back then Azura is too."
"Oh great another problem."
"And the wedding is in two weeks."
"Well do you want to cancel it until we know it's safe?"
"No Aphmau, we don't have to worry. I will protect you if they do attack, okay?"
"Okay fine but if you get hurt one more time then its cancled until those two are gone understand?"
"Understood."
"Good now let's get your cut cleaned up before it gets infected."
"Okay."
I helped him up and we went upstairs. I brought him to the bathroom and grabbed a cloth and wet it. I put it on his cut and he quickly moved his face. I grabbed his face and I put the cloth on the cut. He closed his eyes tight and bit his lip. I finally finished cleaning his cut and I put a bandage on the wound. I brought him to the bedroom and ordered him to lay down. I sat down next to him and he grabbed my hand.
"Thank you for caring about me."
"You don't need to thank me. I just care about you to much and I love you."
"I love you to Aphmau."
I smiled at him and he smiled back. He pulled me closer and kissed me. I started kissing back and I felt sparks go through my whole body. We pulled away and I smiled.
"I never loved anyone like you."
"I bet you say that to all the
boys."
"I swear on Levins life I don't."
"Well I guess you mean it and I feel the same way."
"I know you do."
I snuggled into him and I closed my eyes.

I woke up on Garroth's chest. I got up and stretched my arms out. I tapped on Garroth and he moaned and turned to face the other way. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. I went over to Garroth and he looked peaceful. I kneeled down and kissed him on the cheek. His eyes opened and smiled at me. I got up and went downstairs. I heard footsteps behind me and I looked to see Garroth behind me. He ran up to me and spinned me around. I looked at him and motioned him to follow me. I turned around and walked to the front door and opened it. I closed the door after Garroth stepped out. I grabbed his hand and we walked down the path. We walked around the village and we said hi to people we passed. We made our way to Laurance and Katelyn's house and I knocked on their door and Laurance opened the door. He motioned us to come in and we did. We went and sat on their turquoise couch. Katelyn walked into the room and she ran and hugged me.
"Hey how are you?"
"Good anyways why is there a scar on Garroths face?"
I looked at Garroths face and the cut truned into a scar.
"He got attacked."
"By what?"
"A shadow knight..."
