One Word Can Mean So Much (On Hold)

Chapter 16

Garroth pov:
After the party was over Aphmau and I decided to take an evening walk through the forest. I grabbed her hand and we kept on walking.
"So I was wondering, what are we doing for the wedding?"
"What do you mean?"
"Who are we inviting, what is the colour scheme and when am I going dress shopping?"
"We will invite the village, blue and purple and Cadenza can make you a dress."
"You pretty much have everything planned."
"Not really but anyways I was wondering..."
"What were you wondering about?"
"If you'll get mad at me if I do this."
She gave me a confused look. I picked her up and put her over my shoulder and started running. She started kicking and screaming but I kept on running. I set her down on a blanket.
"Where did this come from?"
"I asked Laurence to set up this midnight picnic."
"Wow... Thank you."
"No problem, I just packed little snacks like strawberries dipped in chocolate."
"Really, yay."
She wrapped her arms around me and smiled. We laid down on the blanket and looked up at the stars. I pointed to a star.
"That's our star for now on, okay?"
"Okay."
She placed her head on my chest and I started to hear snoring. I yawned and closed my eyes then fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling cold. I opened my eyes and I got up, but Aphmau wasn't there. I started to panic. I grabbed the blanket and ran back to the house. I rushed through the door and dropped the blanket on the couch. I ran into the kitchen to see Aphmau doing the dishes.
"Where were you?"
"I was here. I woke up early so I can do the dishes."
"Please tell me when you are going to leave because I had a panic attack."
"Sorry. You just looked so peaceful when you were sleeping."
"Its fine, only if your safe."
I walked over to her and hugged her. She was damp from doing the dishes but I hugged her tighter. When I let go there was bubbles all over my shirt. I wiped the bubbles off and turned off the water.
"What are you doing?"
"You need a break. Let's go see Levin."
"Sorry, but Levin went with Zoey to Meteli."
"Oh. Then do you want to watch a movie?"
"Yay let's watch midnight."
I rolled my eyes, grabbed her hand and we went and sat down on the couch. She got off the couch and put the DVD into the dvr. She came back onto the couch and I put my arm around her.

I fell asleep half way into the movie. I woke up with tears on my shoulder. I looked over at Aphmau crying. I rolled my eyes again.
"That was the saddest movie ever..."
"Yup it sure was."
"What are you talking about, you didn't even watch half of the movie."
"I actually watched the first half then I got bored and fell asleep."
"Well you missed all the good parts..."
She crossed her arms, stood up and marched away like a toddler. She ran out the door and I went after her. As I was running down the steps I tripped on a rock and fell face first then everything went black.

Aphmau pov:
I look behind me to see Garroth bleeding. I ran over to him and he had a large cut on his head. It was gushing out blood so I called for help. Donna came rushing and I started crying. Donna rushed back to her house and came back with Logan. He carried Garroth back to their house and put him in their nurse room.

I walked into Garroth's room to see him on the bed with stitches in his head.
"This is all my fault. If I didn't act like a little Brat and ran out of the house he wouldn't be here right now."
I looked at Garroth and started crying. Donna came into the room with a sad look.
"I'm afraid I have some bad news..."
"What now."
"Garroth is in a...."
"Garroth is in a what!?"
"......"
"Donna. What is wrong with Garroth. I need to know..."
"He is in a coma..."
