Michaels POV

Everything was in slow-mo.

Right after Luke got yanked away from us someone, or something, grabbed Calum and now it was just me and Ashton, all alone in a dark scary room.

"Ashton," I cried.

I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me. "Shhh, I'm here," He said as I cried in his shoulder.

I could tell he was on the verge of tears, By the way his arms were shaking and he kept glancing at the door with watery eyes and a quivering lip.

"Ashton, Ashton l-look at me, you can cry, you know that? You D-Don't have to stay s-strong, I know you're as scared as I am," I stuttered out as I stated deeply into his glassy eyes.

As soon I said that he grabbed onto me and began to cry, hard as I may say.

He clutched onto my wet shirt as his body shook with loud sobs that broke my heart.

He is broken, we all are.

He was strong, but now he's broken. He held all of his sadness and now look at him, he's broken.

I sat there in silence, on the dusty floor until a familiar scream was heard from what sounded like was the room next to the one they're in right now.

"Ashton! Michael! Anybody!" The voice cried out in pain.

"SHUT UP! They're not gonna find you! Stay still so I can do this!" A unfamiliar voice boomed.

Another cry of pain came from Calum before a loud crash was heard and then it became silent.

A deathly silence, the only thing heard was Ashton and I's heavy ragged breathing.

It was silent until Ashton spoke up, voice quiet. "What was that?"

I shook my head already standing up and heading toward the door. "Where are you going?" Ashton asked as he made his way over to me.

"Saving Calum," was all I said before grabbing Ashton's big hand and pulling him out of the room and toward where we last heard Calum's cries for help.
