A secret is out

Meriah POV

I walked behind of my three new friends while we walked to their house. I was kinda nervous about heading to their house even though I just met them but I could feel something strange about them.

We made it to the house and went inside. "Shigure were home." Tohru said as we walked inside

"Oh good Tohru my sweet flower is home." A tall man walk in and stopped looking at me "Tohru who's your new friend?" He asked

"Shigure this is Meriah Valentine, she's new at the school and I thought it would have been a good idea to invite her over.....I'm sorry for not asking you I hope it's alright." She said starting to get a little worried

"Don't worry about it Tohru. As long as her parents or guardian knows where she is its fine with me." He looked at me

"Um......yea I-its ok with them" I told him

He looked at me with a concerned look for a few minutes then Kyo hit him making him cry out like a girl "Kyo that wasn't very nice." Shigure told him

"Well then stop being a pervert to Meriah and go write your damn book or whatever you do." Kyo told him

Shigure left and Kyo just went upstairs I didn't know where though but I didn't want to ask. "I'm sorry about him" Yuki said

"It's ok" I told Yuki

"Do you want to go upstairs?" Tohru asked

"Sure" We went upstairs and went into her room.

We sat on the bed "What do you think Meriah?"

"I like it" I told her giving her a smile

She gave me a smile

We stayed in her room for an hour just talking and laughing. It was really nice to have someone to talk to. We were talking about her parents and how they died. I told her that it was ok that she didn't have to talk about it but she said that it was fine and talk about it with a smile.

"So tell me about your parents Meriah?" She said after she was done.

"Well um....well.... I don't really have....."

"Tohru what's for supper?" We heard from downstairs

"Oh right come on lets go downstairs" She said getting up

I gave a silent sigh and followed her downstairs. Once we were downstairs we saw Yuki watching T.V. I stared at him while walking into the kitchen with Tohru.

"What are you going to make Tohru?"

"I don't know yet."

"Could I look in the fridge?"

"Sure"

I walked over to the fridge and opened it there was a lot of meat and vegetables I took some out and put the things on the counter. "Could you get a cutting board and knife please."

"Sure" She got a cutting knife and cutting board and set it beside me

"Thanks, could you make get some rice ready, and get me a frying pan." I said starting to cut up the meat and vegetable.

She got the rice ready and the pan on the stove. After I finished cutting the things up I placed it in the frying pan and they starting to cook.

It was a few minutes and everything really smelled amazing. I was at the stove checking up on the meat and vegetable when Yuki walked in

"It smells really good in here." He said with a smile when he saw me cooking. "You shouldn't be cooking your our guest.

"No it's alright I don't mind."

"Are you sure Meriah? I can finish up." Tohru said

"No its ok the meat and Vegetables are done." I said talking it off the stove and into the bowl with the rice and took the spoon and mixed it up "There dinner is ready" I said with a smile and brought it to the set table.

"Shigure dinner is ready." Tohru said.

"That's great." He said walking out of his room, and walked over.

We all sat down and started to eat.

*after eating*

Yuki POV

Tohru was starting to clean up and Meriah was helping her. Meriah got up and started to walk but then she started to fall.

"Miss. Valentine" I caught her but soon that I caught her I turned

*POOF*

Tohru POV

"Yuki, Meriah" I scream, both Kyo and Shigure was looking to see what happened

"Nice one you stupid rat" Kyo said

"Shut up you damn cat I wasn't just going to let her fall and hurt herself." Yuki said coming from under Meriah

Shigure walked up to Meriah "I-is she alright Shigure"

Shigure looked over Meriah who was uncouncions "She has a fever, I very high one at that." "Kyo will you help me to bring her upstairs in the spare room"

"How are you going to bring her upstairs without turning?" I asked

"Well if Kyo takes her feet and I take her shoulders we can bring her up without turning or hurting her." He said

"Fine" Kyo said taking her feet then Shigure taking her shoulders

"Please be careful" I told them

"Don't worry" Kyo said back

They went upstairs when I heard another poof. I was facing the other way so I didn't see him "Are you back to normal Yuki?"

"Yes" He said grabbing his clothes and going into the other room.

He came out fixing his shirt then Shigure and Kyo walked down. "How is she Shigure?" Yuki asked

"She resting. I'm going to call Hatori to see if he can check her." He said going to the phone.

"Ok well I'm going to go a put a wake cloth on her forehead." Yuki said

Shigure gave a nod "Alright that will help."

Yuki POV

I went to the kitchen and got a cloth and wet it with some cold water and headed upstairs, then went in the room. Seeing Meriah like that made me kinda worried. I walked over and placed the cloth on her forehead then set beside her.

It wasn't a few minutes later when bright lights came from under the blankets then it went away. Standing I took the blankets off and there was a beautiful blue tail instead of legs

"She's a mermaid"
