Keeping and artest

Yuki POV

It was an hour that she finally woke up. "Mmm... Oww." She held her head.

"Be careful Meriah you don't want to tare your stitches."

She looked at me confused. So I explained what happened. When I finished she was still slightly confused. I got a sickly feeling in my stomach. Does she remember? "Meriah do you remember me?" I asked worriedly

She scanned my body over and nodded "Yuki."

I sighed in relieve. "I was worried."

"Yuki who was that person?" She asked

"That was Akito. Akito is the head of the Sohma family. Our god of the Chinese zodiacs. He gets sick easily and has Hatori take care of him." I explained

"Head of the zodiacs. Does he turn into any animal?" She asked

"No just the head."

"Why did he do that? What did he mean by I took you from the family?" She asked

"I don't know. He gets angry over little things."

"But what did i do Yuki? I haven't even seen him before."

"You didn't do anything Meriah. He believes that you took me away from him...from his family." I told her

"Yuki my head really hurts"

"I know....you hit your head pretty hard when you got thrown against the wall....do you remember that?" I wanted to make sure

She nodded "Yes I remember...I remember being thrown. I wish you were able to lay with me....."

"I know love. I wish i could to"

"I-I want to get up....I want to get up and walk....and i want to talk to him."

My eyes widen. I don't even want her near him not after what happened... "Please rest you had to have stitches."

"Stitches?" She asked

"Yes but they will heal i promise." I leaned in and kissed her forehead.

She blushed has I leaned in and kissed her forehead. As i pulled away I smiled. She looked at me and smiled. I'm glad that she was alright.

"Get some rest alright do you want me to stay here with you?" I asked

"Yes please Yuki." She said grabbing my hand gently.

"Of course I'll stay by you." I watched as she fell asleep. She we resting which was good.

I heard a knocked that door and i was hesitant to anwser until i heard Shigure voice "Its only me Yuki. Can i come in?"

I unlocked the door and opened it. Shigure came in and shut the door again. "How is she. Has she woken yet?" He was worried about her.

"She's alright and she just feel back asleep."

"Does she have all her memories? After a hit like that i wouldn't be surprised if her didn't have her memories."

"She actually does have her memories. I don't know how but she has." I told him.

"Really wow I'm shocked." He looked at her.

"I was to but relieved at the same time. Where's Akito?" I asked with shaking a little.

"We got him calmed down, but he's still frustrated about her and wished that we get rid of her." He said

"She's not going anywhere Shigure." I told him

"I know that and she's not" He explained. He moved some hair from in front of her face. "It's just like the time with Tohru, but he'll get used to Meriah like he did with Tohru."

I hope that he is right. It took a long time for him to get used to Tohru....i just really hope that he'll get used to Meriah to. "So were not making her leave?"

"No of course not. She'll not going anywhere i promise you Yuki. I know how much she's mean to you. And how much you mean to her. She loves you and you love her. Shes not going anywhere" He said which made me smile

Besides from Tohru I've never loved anyone. The changed when i meet Meriah. I smile more because of her. She makes me happier and I'm going to make it my all to protect her.

Meriah started to more to her side as we went silent, we didn't want to wake her. She needed her sleep after what happened.

Shigure looked at me and nodded to the door saying that we should leave but i promised her that i would stay by her side. "I stayed that I would stay with her." I said whispering. He nodded then left.

I locked the door then sat beside the bed like before Shigure came in. I looked at her old scetch book that layed on her beside table. I picked it up and looked through it. I was amazed with all her drawing that she drew. I loved all her drawing. Shes an amazing artest.

I flipped to one drawing and it was of me i looked at the bottom of the page and saw that date was the day of the we talked for two hour after i came home from my walk.

It looked exactly like me. It was so beautiful. I looked at her with a smile. This picture of me was amazing. She was amazingat drawing which made me think what else is she good at.
