Fruits Basket Keeping a secret

Mall

Meriah POV

I looked up at Yuki it wasn't dark. I looked up at Yuki. He did the same. "Is something wrong love?" He asked.

"Can we go to the mall?" I asked.

"Are you feeling well enough to?" He asked feeling my forehead. 

I nodded. "Yes. Please." I begged. 

He gave a small sigh and nodded. "Of course love." 

I smiled at him as I got up and went to get changed. 

I got dressed in some warm but yet cute. A light blue long sleeve turtleneck and black leggings.

I got back down stairs and Yuki was waiting by the door with his jacket and shoes on.

In his arms he had my jacket. Walking over i put my shoes on and Yuki helped me with my jacket.

Smiling he opened the door to let me out first. Once stepping out he closed the door.

I held up the keys to Shigure's car. "He's letting us use it so you dont get sicker." He smiled

It was nice of him to let us use his car. Walking over Yuki opened the passengers side door for me and I got in, thanking him. He shut the door and went to the drivers side and got in. 

Soon we made it to the mall. My small smile soon turned into a big one as we found a parking spot and parked the car. 

Getting out I took Yuki's hand and we went inside. It wasn't a big mall but I was happy that we were here. As we got inside Yuki looked at me. "Where do you want to go?" He asked

"I don't know. Is everywhere an option?" I question. I haven't been to a mall so I was excited. I know that I've been with them for a couple of months but I still haven't been to a mall. 

He smiled and nodded. "Lets looked around and if a store catches your eyes we'll go in." he said as we started to walk.

We walked for maybe a few moments the we passed a jewelry store. I didn't like the bulky jewelry but I did like it. 

I stopped and looked through the window. I heard a feint laugh then I hand on my lower back. "Let's go in."

We walked through the store. Everything was sparkling. Every gem sparkled when I walked by which always catch my eye. 

We walked until A silver heart shape necklace caught my eyes. It was beautiful. One side was covered in gems. The other side was bear. It was chanced from the gem side of the necklace. 

I fell in love with it, but sadly I couldn't get it. I still didn't have a job to get any money. 

I smiled as I turned to Yuki. I kissed his cheek, "I have to use that bathroom. Do you know where it is Yuki?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. We walked out and showed my the sigh that led to the bathrooms. I smiled and walked off. 

Yuki POV

I smiled to myself as she left due to knowing finally what to get her. She fell in love with the heart shape necklace. I walked back in and quickly bought it before she got out. Buying it in time I walked out with time to spare. I put the some bag in my coat pocket that was inside. 

I smiled as she walked out and over to me but soon got upset as she gotten closer. I saw that she was upset. 

"Can we go home?" She asked looking down. 

I looked at her coursly. "Is there something wrong hun?" I asked. 

She shook her head. "I'm just not feeling good all of a sudden." She said holding her stomach. 

I nodded. "Alright. Lets go." I thought that it was weird that she wanted to go home all of a sudden, but I didn't want to upset her.

We walked to the car and got in. "Meriah." She glanced at me. "If there is anything you want to talk about or if there's anything that is bugging you, I'm here ok."

She stayed silent but nodded. I was worried about her. I wonder if something happened in the bathroom but I didn't want to asked. Not yet anyway.

Soon we got back to the house. She got out of the car and went straight inside. Once I got inside I think she went to her room. 

I walked into the living room. Shigure was on the cough reading the newspaper. "That was fast, but Meriah just went to her room. Did something happened?" 

I sat beside him. "I don't know. We walked around the store but one store caught her eye and we went in. Soon after walking around we walked out she needed to go to the bathroom. she went then came back but when she came back she was looking down. " I explain.

He listened and nodded. "Maybe something happened in the bathroom. Maybe you should go up after some time. Give her some space in case something did happen." He said and I nodded.
