chapter 31

Meriah POV

The rest of the day I was either cuddled into my father or Yuki.

I was asleep most of the day. Which was good. By the end of the day. I almost had my voice all the way back.

My father stayed until maybe 8 or 9 then he had to leave. He kissed my forehead and told my to stay silent. I nodded and watched him go.

Yuki brought me up to my room and he told me about his day. I smiled listening to his voice.

I wrote down my answers listening to what my father told me.

I looked at Yuki then realized that its almost been a month time since the last time I swam.

Grabbing the note pad. I wrote.'We need to get me swimming soon. So I don't get that fever again.'  I handed the pad to Yuki to let him read it.

He put the book down and looked up and nodded. "Of course baby." He said.

I smiled at him. Other then my voice I  felt better. My fever had gone down and I didn't feel sick, well too sick.

I pointed to the pad on his lap and he gave it to me. 'Do you think that i can go to school tomorrow?' I gave it back to Yuki so he could read it.

"I-I don't know love. We will have to see in the morning." He said and I nodded.

I layed down. It was late. "Do you want me to stay?" Yuki asked.

'Stay with me until I fall asleep.' I wrote. He smiled and nodded.

Getting up and moving the pad he layed down next to me and pulled me to his chest. "Sweet dreams love. I love you." He said kissing the top of my head.

I smiled and nodded. Snuggling into him. He felt so warm and I felt so safe. I immediately drifted off to sleep.

Soon I woke up. I felt better getting up i headed to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and looked at myself.

I didn't look so pale then yesterday. I opened my mouth to look at the back of my throat. It wasn't to swollen. "T-testing....one. Two. Three." I said my throat hurt slightly and my voice was back.

I smiled that I looked better. After using the bathroom. I went back to me to my room and got ready for school.

No one was stopping me from going to school today.

Getting downstairs i saw everyone sitting and eating breakfast. I smiled and walked over to them.

"Good morning Meriah. How are you feeling?" Shigure asked.

"B-better. Voice is rusty through." He said. I cleared my throat slightly as Yuki place a plate of scramble eggs in front of me.  I smiled and thanked him.

Sitting down I started to eat. After Tohru set a glass of Orange juice in front of me nodding to thank her and drank it.

After everything was cleaned and put away i grabbed my bag. "Try to use your voice little a possible today alright Meriah." Shigure said. I smiled and nodded as we all headed to school.

I was silent for most of the day except the few time the teacher askeda question. Lunch had arrived and Tohru was amazing and packed me a lunch.

I opened it and saw that it was something that wouldn't hurt my throat to bad.

After I ate. I needed to use the bathroom, but since I was at a place where Yuki's fan club was. I didn't want to go alone.

Walking over to Tohru. I asked if she could come with me.

She nodded but then Saki and Arisa said that they would come too. It kinda made me feel a whole lot safer.

Yuki POV

I watched as Meriah left with Tohru and her friends. She looked nervous when she was in her seat but a lot more calmer when they were all leaving together.

I really hope that she was alright and believed me and not my stupid fan club.

I know that she's safe with Saki and Arisa. I just hate how mean my fan club is. I don't even understand why i have a fan club anyway.
