Yuki POV

I hated leaving Meriah alone, but she didn't look well when I woke up. So I let her be. I just hope that she isn't to mad at me.

Classes was long but soon it was lunch. Tohru and her friends and Kyo were playing rich man poor man once more.

"Hey Yuki where's Meriah?" Arisa asked.

"She wasn't feeling well this morning Miss. Uotani." I gave her a smile.

"Yuki did you find out why so was upset yesterday." Tohru asked. Placing her card down.

"Yes I did." I said. "Sadly Meriah was picked on by.." I looked down. "My fan club." I explained. "Telling her the I will brake up with her when I notice how ugly she is." I told him.

"Damnit why can't they just leave Meriah alone." Saki said.

"I was afraid of that." Tohru said.

"God I want to punch them hard." Saki said.

"It'salright Miss. Uotani. You don't have to get upset. Meriah is alright. I am making her that she knows that I would never leave her." I explain.

It seemed to calm her down slightly. My phone started to buzz in my pocket and i took it out and excused myself.

Stepping out I answered it. "Hello."

"Hey Yuki." It was Shigure.

"How is she feeling." I immediately asked due to being worried about her ever since I've left for school.

"Well she's cuddled on the couch with Hatori. Just to let you know she lost her voice." He explained.

I hated hearing they she was sick and it killed me knowing that I couldn't be there with her.

"Alright is she awake?" I asked.

"She's looks like it but drifting asleep. Here I'll put the phone next to her ear." He said then from far away i heard. "Go ahead."

I smiled. "Hey baby. Shigure said that you lost your voice. I'm sorry to hear that. Well i just wanted to say I love you and I'll see you when I get home ok." I said. "Rest well alright. I love you." I said

I heard movement then shigure. "She's asleep now." He said. I smiled softly. "She has a smiled on her face."

"Thanks we'll see you when we get home." He said hanging up. I went into the room then saw the Kyo and Saki were fighting again so I stayed out.

I leaned against the wall and shut my eyes. I couldn't wait to get home.

Meriah POV

I woke up hours late and looked around. Sitting up I saw that my father was still next to me.

"How do you feel?" He asked. "Can you stick out you tongue?" He asked. He had his doctor bag beside him.

I opened my mouth so my father could see my throat.

"Its still swollen a little bit." He said. "Lets try your voice." He said.

I nodded. Taking a sip of my water first. "D-da-dy." I barely said. It was cracking a bit.

"Alright. Still no talking alright." He said.

Just then I heard the door opened and three voices. I smiled and got up. I rushed towards the door and made sure but attacking hugging my boyfriend.

"Y-yu-ki" I try to say happily.

He wrapped his arms around me. "Hey."

"You sound that shit." I heard from Kyo but I ignored it and just kept hugging my lover.

Yuki kissed the top of my head then we pulled away. "How are you feeling."

I opened my mouth to answer him when I heard my father. "Remember rest your voice."

I looked at him and gave him an apologetic smile as I closed my mouth again.

"Its ok Meriah." Yuki said behind me. I turned and looked at him. Then went back into his chest hugging him again.
I missed him. He cuddled and hugged me back again. Holding me close. "I missed you too." He said. "The class missed you as well. They were asking where you were." He said.

"Well I didn't miss you. It was nice." Kyo said.

I rolled my eyes as without even looking, making two vases on each side of him tip over making him wet.

I felt Yuki laugh as he pulled me away from him and looked at me. I wasn't afraid of him. I didn't even flinch.

"Kyo. Let her go?" Yuki said. I waved my hand signing that it was ok.

I glaced at him giving him a look of try me.

"Back away." Yuki said. "Are you really going to beat up a girl. Definitely if she's sick." Yuki added.

Kyo stared at Yuki. "Kyo let her go." Tohru said.

Kyo finally let me go pushing me against Yuki. Yuki wrapped his arms around me.

Kyo went up to his room, but I heard my father tell him. "If you ever hurt my daughter. " I heard.

Yuki turned me around and pulled me close.
