Two truths in one

Meriah POV

I woke up to Yuki staring at me and I wondered why but they I realised that I had my tail.

"Yuki please don't tell anyone" I said sitting up

There was a moment of silent then he finally said something "You're a mermaid"

I gave him a nod "Yes but you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone because if people find out that I'm a mermaid the will do experiments on me." I said with a worried sound in my voice.

He looked at me "D-don't worry I won't tell anyone I promise." He sat back down and covered me up with the blanket. There was more silent "Meriah"

I looked at him "Y-yea Yuki"

"If you're a mermaid w-where are you staying?"

I sighed now I have to tell him "I-I'm not staying anywhere, I don't have parents because there still in the ocean....I ran away from home."

"Why"

"You won't understand." I told him

"I might not understand but I'll listen."

I gave him a small smile then I told him. "Basally I ran away from home because they want me to marry some other fish that I never even met. I believe that is wrong I believe in true love, love at first site. They didn't. And they still don't. It's not true love and I don't want to be force into marring a prince fish."

"Prince does that mean you're a..." He traced off

I nodded my head. "Yes I'm a mermaid princess. Princess Meriah. Sometimes I wish that I wasn't but I am."

I could feel that he was really shocked but yet he had a secret of his own, but I didn't want to ask. There was a couple of minutes later of silent then he finally said something

"I'll keep your secret."

"Thank you so much." There was a blue light under the blankets and my tail turned back to my legs.

I tried to get up but was stop "Ah no you don't. Stay laying down...you have a fever Meriah a high one at that."

"I-I'm fine Yuki... Please."

"No stay laying down." He said with a gentle voice.

I layed back down and fell back to sleep

Yuki POV

I smiled as Meriah fell asleep. I got up and walked downstairs

Tohru ran up to me. "Yuki is she ok is she awake?"

"She was but she's fast asleep again" "Do you know where Shigure is?"

"He's in his study I think he's writing." She said

"Thanks Tohru." Walking over I knocked on the door.

"Come in" I heard behind the other side

I walked in and over to Shigure.

"Hello there Yuki."

"Shigure we need to talk."

"Sure what is it?" He asked seriously

"I was talking to Meriah and she said that she doesn't have a place to live..." I didn't know where I was headed with this but he understood me.

"Well she can stay here. She can work with Tohru."

"Thank you Shigure" I walked out of the room, shutting the door behind me. I went to the living room where Tohru was with Kyo.

I went and sat down, and put my head down on the table

"Are you ok Yuki do you have a fever to?" Tohru asked me

I looked up at her "No I don't have a fever Miss. Honda, I'm ok"

"Ok."

"Miss. Honda, Kyo." They looked at me "Meriah will be staying with us. Shigure is letting her stay...She doesn't have a place to stay"

"What" Kyo Said

"She doesn't have a place."

I shook my head no. "But Shigure is letting her stay here. But he said that she wants her to work with you Miss. Honda if that's ok with you."

"Of course it is" She said a smile

I decided to check on Meriah. I got up and went to her room, and walked in. I saw that she was still asleep. She looked so cute. I'm glad that she I staying with us. I sat down next to the bed. She still had her tail probably because the wet face cloth was still on her, but that the only way to help with her fever. I just watched her while her slept. "She so beautiful"

Wait do I like Meriah? I like Meriah.

But the question is does she like me?
