Father

Meriah POV

Its been a couple of weeks since Christmas and everything has been doing good.

I was doing a lot better in school and I've been swimming every two weeks. Yuki and I worked things out at the school pool since he is student body president he would be able to let me in the school pool after or even before school.

I woke up to pouring rain outside. I looked out my window to see the storm. It looked terrible.

I got up and dressed. Then went down stairs. "Ah good your awake." I heard Shigure say.

I smiled at him. "Yea whats going on."

"Well with this terrible storm school has been cancelled." He said

"Oh alright." I saw Yuki and sat next to him. "Hi"

He smiled at me "hi how are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm doing good."

"That's good."

Tohru placed a plate of eggs and toast in front of me. "Thank you Tohru."

She smiled "Your welcome." I started to eat the food. Once i was done Tohru took the plate and brought it to the kitchen. I got up and went to my drawing room with Yuki.

About an hour or two later Shigure came in with Hatori behind him. "Meriah we need to talk." Shigure said.

I looked at him. What is it Shigure? Is everything alright?" I asked

Hatori POV

I drove to Shigure after finding out the truth. Making it. I carried my former lover in the house. Shigure opened the door and I carried her to thd couch.

Setting her down I helped her get dry. "What's going on Hatori?" Shigure asked.

"Shigure this is Natasha. She's Meriah's mother."

"Are you here to bring her back?" Shigure asked worriedly.

"No I can tell by the way Hatori describes that shes truly happy here. But her father isnt." She said.

"Then why are you her?"

"Better question is where is Meriah?" I asked.

In her drawing room. We all went there. Shigure opened the door I was behind him.

"Meriah we need to talk." Shigure said.

She looked at us. "What is it Shigure? Is everything alright?" She asked.

"There something very important that I need to tell you Meriah." I said. Shigure stepped aside and I walked in letting Natasha walk in.

Her face went from a smile to a frown right away. "M-mom."

Meriah POV

"M-mom"

I stared at my mom. Shes going to take me away. Back to the ocean to marry the prince. I'm not going to let her. I thought. "What are you doing here?"

"Hi baby girl."

"What are you doing here?" I asked again

"Well your father wanted me to find you and bring you back. But Hatori as told me that you are really happy here. Is that true?"

"Yes mom I am. I'm super happy here and I found true love." I said grabbing Yuki's hand. He makes me happy. So pleeeaase mom don't bring me back because I want to stay here. I want to stay here with Yuki. I-i..."

I started to tear up. Shes walks up to me and wiped a tear away. "Is that really want you want sweetheart."

I nodded. "I'm really happy here."

"Alright." She looked at Yuki and smiled. "I'll let you stay. But your father is going to have a cow.....but I something important to tell you."

"What is it mom?" I asked.

"Your father isn't your both father." She said.

"W-what. Who's my real father then?" I questioned in confusion.

"I am.." Hatori said stepping closer.

I always had a special connection with Hatori but I would have never thought that I would be his daughter. I looked at my mom and she nodded.

"A long time ago before you were concave Hatori and I fell in love...true love and that night we...well anyway when I went back to the ocean a couple days I learned that I was pregnant with you. I told your father well step father about what happened. Yes he was mad but he understood. So he raised you as his own but you were to never to know but we let Hatori visit you." She explained.

I looked at him. "Did you know?" I asked.

He shook his head no. "I only found out myself."

"So Hatori is my father..." I walked up to him who was by my desk. I looked at the glass of water and made it tip over using one of my powers. It splashed on my and in the middle of changing and wrapped my arms around his neck.

When the light from my change went away we both had our arms around each other tightly. I hugged him tight and as long as a could before I started to change back then let go of him.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you baby girl." I looked towards my mom.

"Its ok mom I understand. Thanks you for telling me and thank you understanding about me staying." Walking up and wrapped my arms around her and hugged her

"I wouldn't want to tare you apart from your true love."
