After my encounter with Charlie, I decided to go home. The sun was setting as I finally made it to my house. No one was home, so I grabbed the key under our 'welcome' mat and unlocked the door.
I raced to my nightstand and went to my charging mytouch. I reconsidered and went through my wallet, counting how much money I had.
$783.
I smirked to myself. I could get a second handed iPhone 5 with that money.
So I went on Amazon and ordered me one. I went to bed with a smile on my face.

Before I knew it, Monday rolled around. My Amazon account said that my phone would come in between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Finally! I would get a better phone!
I changed into skinny jeans and a t-shirt that read 'School is for losers. Good thing I am one'. It was written in white, while my shirt was black.
Quickly slipping on my red all star converses, I grabbed a fruit cup from the kitchen and raced out of the house, not before brushing my teeth, of course.
I just.....didn't want to talk to anyone.
I caught the bus before it left me. Jenna was sitting in her normal seat. But instead of me next to her, there was this guy, hot I must say, sitting in my seat instead. And by the looks of it, they were flirting with each other. I stared at Jenna in the eyes as I passed our--correction--her seat. She froze, and at first her eyes looked guilty. Then smug. And I walked to the back of the bus. Alone.
I didn't forgive Jenna.....but I wasn't mad at her either.

When I got to first period, my eyes immediately scanned for Jordan. It was a habit I couldn't control.
I was surprised to see that he wasn't there. I shrugged off the tinge of disappointment and sat down in my regular seat, unpacking my stuff. Soon, the classroom began to fill up, and I spotted Jenna and the guy from earlier nearing this classroom. Just as she was about to go in, they kissed. Then they hugged and the guy said something which made Jenna laugh and then they departed.
Her blonde curls bounced as she entered the classroom. When her blue eyes met mine, she smirked.
My heart ached. I missed Jordan so badly. To Hell with Jenna.
Two could play at this game.
Mr. Butler came in and I immediately knew class had started.

I spent most of my classes alone. At lunch, Alex joined me, making fun of me by saying how my frown should be turned upside down. He brought along his friend, Ben, and they kept me company during lunch.
I was chewing my carrots down noisily, when Ben whined, "Quiet down, will ya? You're hot and all, and as much as I'd like to tap that, you gotta eat your carrots softly."
I rolled my eyes. Yes, Ben was gay.
I guess you could say he was my gay friend, who had a crush on Alex. I mean, it was pretty easy to see that Ben had feelings for Alex. I confronted him about it and he told me not to tell anyone a year ago.
Alex looked at me. "Princess, lift your head up. Your crown is falling."
That one made me snort. "I don't even have a crown," I muttered. "I don't deserve one."
Alex tapped my nose. "Tell me, sweet cakes. What's wrong?"
I shook my head. "Not--"
Ben interrupted. "Nothing, right? Well, 'nothing' for you might be everything for us, so spill."
And so I did. I told them about my crush on Tyler and how he asked me to the dance. I told them about how I got drugged and almost raped at the dance. Then I told them how I kissed Tyler, and how Jordan got mad. Then Ben asked me who Jordan was, and I had to take a long time describing him. Then I told them about my phone call with Jenna, my encounter at the park with Charlie, and Jenna's 'supposedly' new boyfriend.
After I finished, Ben said, "Damn, that is one helluva story. I feel bad for you, babe." He gave me a hug and I chuckled. "Thanks for your pity," I said.
Alex stared at me. "Your family could help you out."
I groaned and told them the story about my family. Alex chuckled and said, "You are a wrecking ball."
Ben crinkled his nose. "Not the wrecking ball Miley Cyrus sat on naked. That bitch crazy."
That made me laugh. "Ben, shut up," I said.
Alex hit Ben. "Idiot, we have to help her out. Here, call me," he said to me, scribbling something on a piece of paper. Handing it to me, he stood up. "Bye Sofia," he said as he walked away. Ben flashed me a peace sign and said, "Ciao!"
I chuckled and waved at him.
They made my day.
And I feel better, so much better, now.
