Chapter 14

"No way." I repeated.

"What? What no way?" Ari asked.

"You know exactly what i mean." I said.

"No I don't." She said trying to look innocent.

"Well then, by no way I mean that there is NO FUCKING WAY I AM GOING IN THERE." I shouted.

"Calm down Lauren. Why are you so mad?"

I growled.

Ari got out of the car, closing the car door and came to stand by the passenger door. She opened it.

"Come out." She ordered.

"No." I said.

"Please Lauren." She begged.

"No." I repeated firmly.

"Please."

"Give me the car keys. I will drive back to my house."

"No." She said.

"Fine then. I'll walk." I said and got out of the car and pulled out Lily from the back seat.

"Wait." Ari said.

"What?" I asked looking at her.

"Why aren't you going in?" She asked.

"I mean you were great friends with all the other lads. Don't you want to meet them."

"Of course I do." I said.

"Then?" She inquired.

"Louis hates me Ari. I know he would get angry if I went inside."

"He doesn't hate you." Ari said.

"Yes he does."

"Why do you think he hates you?" She asked.

"Because."

"What? Even you yourself aren't sure if he hates you or not."

"I am pretty sure he hates me."

"Whyyyyyy??" She asked exasperated.

"I bumped into him today." I whispered.

"And......" She said urging me on.

"He shouted at me Ari. He bloody screamed at me in front of everybody and called me a whore and slut."

Ari's mouth hung open.

"Is that proof enough that he hates me?" I asked angrily.

She closed her mouth and said. "There must be a reason for that."

"Yes, he screamed at me because Lily called me mommy and he said I was a whore for sleeping with some one." I said, trying to hold back tears.

"Lauren I didn't know....." Ari muttered.

"Ari we broke up. What is his problem. I didn't even sleep with some one and even if I had that was no reason for screaming at me. I can do whatever I want to. You can go in and tell him to stop ruining my life." I said.

"But.....you have to come in."

"I'm sorry. But that is not going to happen."

I said and started to walk away.

"Wait." Ari said once again causing me to stop.

I turned around and said. "Now what?"

Ari was texting some one on her phone. She put the phone back in her back pocket after a minute and looked up at me. I looked at her questioningly.

"Wait." She said. I heard the front door of the house open.

I quickly turned around and started to run away when Ari grabbed my wrist. I shut my eyes hoping against hope that it wasn't Louis who had opened the door.

"Hi Ari." I heard an irish accent say.
I breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at the blonde Irish guy who was strolling towards us. Once he reached us he put his arm around Ari's waist and kissed her. Ari pulled away before the kiss could get heated and looked at me. Niall followed Ari's gaze and looked at me shocked. I don't think he had noticed there was any one else beside Ari here. He was looking at her all the time he was walking here. But as soon as he had gotten over the shock he turned his eyes away from me looking away.

"Niall, tell Lauren to come inside." Ari said looking at Niall.

"Why should I?" Niall said in a cold tone.

"What?" Ari pouted.

"Why should I tell a girl who broke her promise." He said.

"What? What do you mean? What promise?" I asked Niall. I didn't know what he was talking about and his attitude was hurting me.

He finally made eye contact with me. "You promised you would stay in contact but you didn't. I called you a thousand times but you never answered my calls." He said.

Now I knew why he was mad. Whenever any of the boys called me I didn't receive their calls. I knew I had promised but I had a very good excuse for not answering them. I didn't talk to them because I wanted to forget Louis and I knew talking to the boys would only remind me of him. I had received several calls from the boys. They left me voice messages telling me to return their calls but I never did. At first they didn't stop calling me when I didn't return their calls. Maybe they thought I was busy or something like that. After 4 months their calls stopped. I had been a little sad but then I told myself that it was my fault.

I looked at Niall. I could see the hurt in his clear blue eyes. I remembered all the fun I had with him. He was my best friend. I used to love him almost as much as I loved Louis. But as a friend. I still loved him.

"I...... I'm sorry." I blurted.

He looked at me and his eyes softened. Maybe he could see in my eyes that I really was sorry. "I wanted to talk to you Niall. Believe me, I did. I missed you all terribly. I just.... I just wanted to forget about Lo......." I trailed off.

"I understand." He said.

I smiled at him and he returned the gesture.

"Now don't I get a hug?" He asked opening his arms out wide, inviting me.

I ran into them and put my arms around his waist hugging him tightly. He closed his arms tightly around me. God, how much I had missed the 'Horan hugs'.

We pulled apart.

"I missed you too." He said looking down at me.

"Hey, you've grown Nialler. You're taller than me. I thought you would stay a leprechaun forever." I teased him.

"Yea I have. And look I have chest hair too." He said pulling down the neck of his shirt, grinning like a proud child who had just gotten an A+ in a math exam. He was such a kid.

"Wow." I said pretending to be amazed looking at the hair on his chest.

"Hey, he's mine." Ari said playfully.
Niall grinned at her goofily. I could see that he loved her.

"Mommy." Lily said. All of our heads snapped down in her direction.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Who is he?" She said pointing at Niall.

I smiled at her and said. "He's my friend. Niall." I said.

"Niall." Lily said looking up at him.
He grinned widely, bent down and scooped Lily in his arms.

"Now aren't you a cute little princess." Niall cooed. "What's your name?"

"Lily." Lily smiled and I instantly knew that she would like Niall a lot.

"Oh, that's such a cute name." He said and then turned to me." Okay Lauren come on in." He said and turned to walk towards the house, Lily in his arms.

I remembered now why I was standing here in the first place and not inside the house.

"No Niall." I said.

"Why?" He said turning to look at me.

"Louis hates me. I know he wouldn't want to see me and neither do I want to see him." I said.

"He doesn't hate you." Niall said.

"Yes he does." I said.

"Hold Lily, Ari." Niall said and handed Lily to Ari. Then he came to me, bent down a little, crossed his arms around my thighs and lifted me up in his arms put me over his left shoulder.

"Niall. Put me down." I screamed, punching him on his back with my fists.

He ignored me and started walking towards the house, Ari following him.
He opened the front door when he reached it, walked in and put me down. Ari walked in behind us and closed the door.

"I hate you Niall." I said.

"I love you too." He said, grinning.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the living room.

"Look who's here every body." He shouted, earning every one's attention and causing them to turn and look at us.

Liam and Harry were sitting on the couch and Zayn and a girl with blonde hair with the tips dyes blue was sitting beside Zayn on the floor. They were watching crazy stupid love. Louis was not among them.

Harry and Zayn gave me cold looks and turned back to the tv. They were also mad at me. Liam got up and walked towards me.

"Lauren." He said smiling and pulled me in for a hug. I didn't understand why he wasn't mad at me. I hadn't answered his calls either. Maybe he understood why I didn't answer the calls.

"I'm sorry." I whispered into his chest.

"Huh?" He asked confused, looking down at me.

"For not returning your calls."

"It's okay." He said.

I smiled at him. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." He smiled back at me.

I pulled away from him and walked over to the boys.

"Uhhh hey guys." I said.

They ignored me.

I sat on the couch and turned to look at Harry. "Harry." I said.

"What?" He asked not looking at me.

"I'm sorry for ignoring you guys the past four years. I really am. Please forgive me." I begged.

He turned to look at me. "Why did you ignore us Lauren?"

I hesitated.

"Lads come on. Give her a chance. She's finally here. You can't ruin this visit for her." Niall said, coming and sitting beside me.

"I..... I didn't come for a visit Niall." I said.

"Then?" He asked confused.

"I'm not going back to Swindon. I'm here forever." I said.

He grinned and I caught Zayn and Harry smiling too. They still loved me.

"Awesome. Now we can see you every day." Niall said.

"Who is she." I heard the blonde girl whisper to Zayn.

"She's Lauren." Zayn replied to her in a whisper.

I don't know why they were whispering. We could still hear them.

"Oh so this is Lauren."
How does she know about me.

She turned around and faced me. She held out her right hand. "Hey I'm Perrie. Zayn's girlfriend. Nice to meet you."

I shook her hand and said. "Nice to meet you too."

She turned back to Zayn and said. "Zayn, talk to her. You told me that you missed her."

He didn't react for a second, just sat there, a thoughtful expression on his face. After a while He stood up, turned around and stared at me. Then opened his arms inviting me in for a hug. I grinned, stood up and hugged him. "I missed you too Zayn."

We smiled at each other. I sat back on the couch and looked at Harry.

"Fine." He grumbled and pulled me in for a hug. We sat like that for a moment. Zayn switched the channel to some gossip show. I jumped when I saw my self on the tv.

"What the fuck." I muttered and grabbed the tv control from Zayn and turned up the volume.

Every one's attention was focused on the tv.

"Hey everybody this is your host Hannah Briggs. I've got very juicy news for you. It appears that we have finally found out the cause of Louis Tomlinson's depression. Our insider caught Louis shouting at his ex girlfriend. Lauren apparently broke Louis' heart. She broke the record of the women receiving most hate on twitter. #laurenbitchdeservestodie has been trending on twitter world wide. The one direction fandom are threatening to kill her."

The screen showed tweets for a while. They were all like 'how dare that fucking bitch hurt our Louis' or 'I will kill you bitch. You wont be able to save yourself. Get ready to die'

Then it showed my picture from today in starbucks.

The host came back. "Lauren........"
Before she could say anything the tv control was snatched from my hand and the tv switched off. I looked to my left. Harry was the one who had switched off the tv. I heard a sharp intake of breath from behind me. I turned around and looked at Louis through the tears That had appeared in my eyes. He was standing beside a very beautiful brunette. I could see that he had been listening to the tv but he apparently hadn't noticed me until now. Our eyes met mine.

Before anyone could do anything I was up and running away from there.

Who is your favourite boy from one direction and why do you like him the most?

My favourite are Zayn and Louis. Zayn because he is so god damned sexy. I mean have you ever stared at his face. Its irresistible and Louis because he is so funny and i cant stop myself from loving him.
