Life. Such a fragile and delicate thing. Right now, my life was being consumed by someone else. Someone who was evil and cruel. Showed no mercy, not even if it kills them. I was so caught up in self pitying and running away that, I never even stopped to really reflect on all my mistakes.

My plan failed. Not once, not twice, but three times. Sometimes people are discouraged from failing. Sometimes, all they need is a little push. That's what I have everyday on this horrid, wretched island. A push.

"I expect that you've token the time to finally come to your senses. Correct me if I'm wrong to let you out of this cage." Peter smirked, crossing his arms.

I never truly looked at him. When we first met, it was dark. I could only see his eyes and parts of his figure. Everyday I had a foggy mind, running away from him. I stared into his amused green eyes. They held such, emotion. Not happiness or sadness. No, more like an amused, sinister gleam. A smirk that always seemed to take place on his face. Sometimes it was a delighted smile and it was, at times, mesmerizing. It was mesmerizing, but I never really and truly noticed since I was always to busy running away from it.

He had broad shoulders and even though he wore heavy clothing, you could still see muscles on his arms whenever he crossed them. Men usual did that to intimidate each other, establish boundaries and such.

"You're not wrong. Running would be foolish as it hasn't worked for the past few attempts. Besides, why would I run? I've seen all there is to see on this pathetic island. There is absolutely no way off this island. Not without your permission." I answered after a pause.

"I just love the sweet words of surrender that my prison-guests speak." Peter sighed in satisfaction.

Peter lowered me down and opened the door. He held out his hand with that prominent and proud smirk. I, hesitantly, took his hand and crawled out the cage. Sparks. That's what holding his hand felt like. There was sparks, his hands were firm and warm. I immediately let go of his hand as soon as I was out the cage. I smoothed out my dress, even though it was completely tattered. I held my heels now since they just made everything more difficult.

"Follow me" Peter said before turning and walking in a direction.

I followed Peter through the jungle, most likely heading to camp. I heard the snap of a twig and our heads snapped toward the direction. This caused us to stop in our tracks and I felt an overwhelming rush of Deja Vú.

"They've never been that close..." Peter mumbled curiously to himself.

"Is it those people that I asked about?" I questioned.

"You've already figured that question out." Peter stated.

"It's always nice to confirm a persons suspicion." I retaliated.

Peter was about to comment back, but was cut off by the little group. They seemed to be coming closer and Peter seemed to have sensed that as well.

"Shit.." He cursed.

"Well, well, well..... If it isn't the teenage bastard who stole a son and a princess." A cocky male voice spoke from behind us.

I looked over and saw a man in his early to mid-twenties. He wore a black pirate suit and had bright blue orbs. A smirk evident in his face. The most intriguing part, he had a hook for a hand. Interesting.

"And if it isn't the man that worked for me, then left, and is now back will a few buddies. Well isn't that just lovely. Did you say stole? The only thing I stole, was her heart. You can't take her away if she's infatuated with me. Let alone if I'm infatuated with her." Peter lied, wrapping an arm around my waist.

Peter applied pressure to my waist, a command to follow his plan. 'More like desperate measure.' I thought.

"It's true! You can't take separate two happy people away from each other. After all, Prince Charming and Snow White got to be together and are reunited with their daughter. An added bonus of Regina, the evil queen might I add, working with them." I quickly lied.

They held doubt on their faces after I said that. Regina held a face more along the lines of, 'I'm-not-stupid'.

"Pretty lines, all lies." Regina stated.

"Don't worry Bree, we'll save you from this monster." Emma added.

"No guys, really, I'm fine." I tried convincing.

"Enough of this! It's clear you're making the poor girl lie to keep herself alive!" Regina yelled outraged.

"How about we settle this? Yeah?" Peter smirked.

He leaned down and whispered in my ear.

"Kiss me...."
