Chapter Twenty-Nine: Honeymoon
Toby and I hopped off of the boat, and Toby laid on his back. "Finally! LAND."
"Don't be an idiot," I laughed and poked him with my foot.
"Vi," he sighed. "We have been on two planes and a boat for the last two days. I LIKE LAND, MMKAY?"
"Okay," I laughed and rolled my eyes. Toby and I were in the Galapagos Islands, because we both agreed that it would be amazing to be able to play with the animals and lounge on beaches that weren't totally polluted. "I'm going to go check into our hotel, you have fun with your sand."
"Noooo," he whined. "Don't leave me!"
"Then come on, dumdum," I laughed.
"Help me," he made big puppy eyes and held his hands up.
"Fine," I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hands, pulling him up. "God dangit, you're heavy Toby!" I eventually pulled him up and we checked into our hotel. Our room had a huge window that took up practically the entire wall and overlooked the beach. "Wow," I smiled. "It's beautiful!"
"Vi?" Toby called my name, and I turned around to see him standing in the middle of the room, FREAKING SHIRTLESS. "Hi," he laughed nervously and bit his lip.
"Uh, Toby," I breathed. Holy crap, okay, I know we're married, but it just slapped me in the face how utterly perfect and attractive Toby is. "Okay," I chuckled. He seemed to take a deep breath before walking over and wrapping his arms tightly around my back, hugging me to himself.
"I love you, Vi," he whispered into my hair.
Okay, like, is this seriously happening? I am totally flipping out in here! "I love you too, Toby," I mumbled into his chest. The room was warm before but now I needed the freaking AC ASAP. We stood there for another moment before Toby bent down and swooped me up into a princess carry. "Toby?" I laughed as he carried me to the bed, laying me down gently and still hovering over me. It really is happening, then.. He kissed me passionately, climbing onto the bed over me.
***You dirty minded Buscuses ;)***
Toby and I spent the honeymoon swimming in the ocean, playing with the various species on the islands, boating, and sometimes just staying in the room, watching movies or, ya know, whatever..
All I have to say is, it was amazing. I couldn't have wished for a better honeymoon, and I couldn't have wished for a better man to spend it with.
