<Sam's POV>

Keira is very good at traveling. I don't know how, but she is. She doesn't complain or say anything, even though we've been on the road for hours. I even glance at her as Dean sets in one of his many classic rock cassets. She notices me looking and makes a face, but she doesn't ask him to turn it off.

"Dean, I think we should make a rest stop soon. I've had to use the bathroom for the past 100 miles and I'm sure Keira is the same and probably hungry too."

"We have twenty miles left til we reach Black Forest. Can't you hold it?" Dean asks.

I glance back at Keira and she nods, shifting uncomfortably.

"Thanks," she mouths at me and I wink at her, causing her to turn pink and quickly look out the window.

I smile to myself. She's adorable.

"So Keira," I start, turning the volume on the radio down, "I know you don't remember much, but is there anything that you've remembered or just know automatically?"

She pauses, looking up as she thinks.

"Well, I find that I really like purple and green. I saw a clown themed kid's place a few miles back and immediately had a panic attack...they're pretty creepy if I'm being honest."

As she says it, Dean reaches over and smacks me, giving me an excited look. I glare over at him. Keira notices what happened but, graciously, she makes no comment.

"What else?" I ask, truly curious.

"I'm not a big fan of classic rock, sorry Dean," she says as Dean sputters in the driver's seat, "I kind of like the driving and traveling though. Even though I'm really hungry..."

"Ten miles!" Dean calls back.

She smiles and laughs, filling the car with feminine laughter for the first time in months.

When we finally do get to the town we're investigating, we immediately get a hotel room. It's too late to do the FBI thing, so we plan on getting some food and some rest before heading out tomorrow. We stop at KFC for dinner, which has both Keira and I wrinkling our noses.

"It's so greasy," she comments as Dean hands her the boneless chicken tenders she ordered.

"You could've gotten a salad," I reply.

"Sam, that thing looks like one of the monsters you hunt. There is no way I'm getting anywhere near that thing."

"That's what she said," Dean adds pulling out of the drive-through.

When I look back at Keira, her face is flushed and her clean hand is on her forehead in a 'facepalm' gesture.

It only takes five minutes for us to get to the motel.

Once inside, we dig in, comfortable silence taking over as we eat. When we're finished, Keira goes and takes a shower.

"I'm going to the bar to do some investigating," Dean informs me.

I wave him off, not even bothering to be pissed about it. I try watching TV, but the only channels have porn. I decide instead to do some research, but it turns out I left my laptop in the car. I go out and retrieve it. When I walk back through the door I see Keira...in a towel...a very loose towel. Several images flash through my head and before I can clear my throat to warn her that I'm here, she drops the towel.

"Keira!" I shout and she grabs the closest thing to her-one of my shirts, and covers herself with it.

"Ohmygod, Sam...I..um...I thought you went with Dean to the bar?"
