<Keira's POV>

Dean comes back the next morning. He looks miserable.

"Dean, are you okay?" I ask.

Even with last night's activities, Sam and I got up fairly early. Surprisingly, I'm not all that tired. A little sore, yes, but not tired. Sam seems pretty awake to me too, because I notice he's drinking his coffee slower than usual.

"I ran into another hunter last night and I had to sleep in the car, so no, I'm not okay," he growls.

I frown but don't reply.

"Hey, Dean, cut her some slack," Sam defends me, "it's not her fault you didn't just buy a night in another room."

"Oh don't give me any of that 'give her a break' crap. She's a big girl. She can take care of herself."

I bite my lip and look between the two.

"I think I'm gonna head to the McDonalds and get us some breakfast," I say, grabbing my jacket off the table where I threw it last night, "the usual for you guys?"

"Yeah," Dean grumbles, rubbing a kink from his neck.

Sam walks me to the door and as I'm walking out the door, he grabs my arm and drags me back, pressing a kiss to my lips.

"Don't mind Dean, he's just tired."

I nod, bumping my forehead against his.

"I know. I'll be back in a few minutes. Call if anything happens?"

"Of course. You're not taking the Impala?" he asks.

I shake my head.

"As unappealing as walking is for me at this point, Dean's on a short fuse as it is," I answer.

Concern flashes through his eyes.

"Are you okay? I didn't..."

I stifle a giggle.

"Sam, I have no idea how long it's been since I last had sex before last night. Besides," I kiss his palm, "I'm hard pressed to think of a day something hasn't hurt since you found me in those woods."

I wink at him and squeeze his hand briefly, before going off down the street to the McDonalds. It's about 9:30 so there are a few people out walking. Most people are casually dressed, like me, but a couple people in suits bustle past me.

"Hey girlfriend!" Kris says suddenly my side.

"Jesus Kris!"

"Actually, it's Jesus Christ," she says with a little half smile, pulling me into a hug right there on the sidewalk.

I pull away and get pulled into an awkward hug by Cas. The word 'strange' is an understandment, but I don't deny the hug. He pulls away and looks at Kris. There's a little amused smile tugging at the corners of her lips and she nods.

"See, that wasn't so bad," she tells him, squeezing his hand.

The gesture remind me of Sam and the images flash through my mind before I can stop them. Kris's eyes widen.

"Oh. Cas...maybe you should make sure Sam and Dean aren't killing each other...?" she says.

He nods presses a kiss to her lips before disappearing. Once he's gone, she links her arm through mine and drags me down the sidewalk towards the McDonalds.

"OhmyCas, you and Sam had sex!" she says, her voice quiet and excited.

I duck my head, feeling my cheeks heat up with a blush.
