<Keira's POV>

When I wake up, I notice several things without opening my eyes. One, I'm not in the hotel anymore because it even smells different here. Two, I remember that I'm with Balthazar and I can hear him off to the side, bustling around. Three, I have all my clothes on-that's good. Four, I'm laying on...a couch...I think. I hope it's a couch, anyway.

I open my eyes and see the ceiling, lit in the glow of a fire that I hear crackling off to one side. I take in a slow breath, breaking the steady rhythm and probably alerting Balthazar that I'm awake. As soon as I do, my head starts aching. I groan, putting a hand to my head.

"Ah, you're awake. I though I might have to do it myself."

I make a small, unappreciative sound in response.

"Common now, don't be lazy."

"What did you do to me?" I ask miserably, slowly sitting up.

"Well," he says simply, "I'm sure the soarness had to do with that ghost you destroyed earlier. But that headache I can't explain."

I shake my head, trying to dispell the dizziness.

"Awesome," I deadpan, "where did you take me?"

"Oh a mansion that I own in Italy," he replies.

I look over at him. There's a table that has an old pot on it and a couple cans of spray paint. He looks ridiculously casual talking to me. I mean, the guy kidnapped me. Shouldn't this conversation be more...tense?

"Why?" I ask, too afraid and cautious to remove myself from the couch.

"I want information," he says and pulls a chair up in front of me.

"What? I don't have any information on anything."

I couldn't remember who the president of US was. Why the hell does he think I can tell him anything useful?

"Oh, I think you do. The subject matter is fairly personal," he answers.

I raise an eyebrow. Is he talking about Sam and/or Dean? Because I really don't know much about them. I mean, I kind of do but...

"Kristena Singer," he clarifies.

I laugh.

"What could you possibly want me to tell you that you couldn't find out from her?"

He raises an eyebrow confused. I sit forward a little bit.

"Look, Kristy is an open book. You can ask the girl anything."

And I do mean anything. I asked her about sex with Cas for godsakes. I'm sure she'd be willing to answer any questions Balthazar has-especially since she likes him so much.

"I'm not so sure."

I sit back with a sigh.

"I can't even guarantee that I'll be useful. I haven't known her that long," I inform him.

"Tell me about Kristena and Cas," he says.

I raise an eyebrow. Should I really be talking about this with him? I mean, he kidnapped me. Shouldn't I be withholding information on principal?

"Um...do you have a guy crush on Cas? Are you gay?" I ask.

He sighs heavily and gives me an impatient look.

"I'm not gay. I'm just asking."

I shrug.

"They're married, obviously. I think they met about a year ago, when he pulled her and Dean from Hell. That whole 'more profound bond' thing and whatnot..."
