When I got to school, I sat at my normal morning spot-alone. I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Hey!" Adriana said. Her hair was brown and curly. The day before it had been straight, but this was obviously her natural hair. It was pretty.
"Oh, um, hi." I said.
"Want to come sit with me?" She asked.
"Sure." I shrugged, and she led me to an empty seat where she say next to me. I was sitting across from a girl with blonde hair in a ponytail, and blue eyes. Next to her was another blonde.
"Hey." The one with her hair in a ponytail said.
"I'm Nicole." She said.
"Ally." I said.
It was awkward being surrounded by people who were obviously best friends, and having to be the one was there because of sympathy. Atleast, it felt that way.
The rest of the day went just as usual.
