"What?" Alaska said.
"Umm. Nothing." I felt like I shouldn't tell her. What if she got all grossed out?
"Okay then." She said. I was quiet for a long time after.
"Okay, something is wrong. Spill it." She said.
Should I tell her? What have I got to lose. If she doesn't want to be my friend anymore, whatever.
"I think i'm bi.." I said. Her eyes got wide a little.
"What makes you say that?"
"Well I was kinda having sexual feelings.. about you.."
"Oh.. well.. uh.."
"Sorry. Shouldn't've said that." I said, standing up to leave.
"Wait! It's cool, I don't really care. I'm bi too."
"Really?" I asked. She nodded. In the heat of the moment, I slammed my lips against hers. I had to know for sure. If I didn't feel anything, I was good. If I did feel something... well, that's something else entirely. I was kissing her, full out. My small hand was on her arm and she was frozen, but kissing me back.
This was bad. Really bad.
It was electrifying. Her lips were soft and sweet. So was her skin. It was intense.
I pulled away. We both had our mouths gaping open. I was speechless.
"Um, I think maybe I should go..." I said.
"No, its alright. You can stay if you want."
"Well, its good to know I'm welcome, but I should get home. My mom is probably livid." I said. Alaska nodded.
"You should come over again sometime." I nodded.
"See you in school."
"See ya."
"Where the hell have you been?!"My mom shouted as I walked through the door.
"With a friend."
"Are you insane? What do you thi- wait. Friend?"
"Yes, mother. Believe it or not, Lily can actually make friends." I said sarcastically.
"Don't get smart with me! But I'm glad you made a friend. What's her name?"
"Alaska."
