"Kara? What are you doing here?" Shawn asks. The girl intensely starring at me, but just has a smug look on her face.
"Walking back from my locker. I thought you were gonna help your dad again. But guess not! Why? Why would you?" I say back with a tear falling down my face.
"Kara, I'm done. I needed someone older and more experience to try things, plus she gives out." Shawn says to me with a wink.
"Whatever! Jerk!" I slap him across the face and run outside into the parking lot. I decided on not calling Colton or Landon. Instead I called the one person I could count on.
"Hello?"
"Lilly, Can I come over?" I ask her.
"Of course. What's wrong?"
"I'll tell you when I get there. Bye." I say to her.
I hang up my phone and walk all the way to Lilly's house. After a half hour of walking I finally reach her house. Lilly opens the door after I rung the doorbell a few times.
"Come on, let's talk in my room." Lilly shuts the front door and I follow her up to her room.
"Hey Kara!" I look over to see Lilly's little brother, Elliot, watching spongebob squarepants.
"Hi Elliot." I say back.
We reach Lilly's room, she takes a seat on her bed and I sit on her purple bean bag chair.
"Okay, spill." She says.
"Shawn cheated on me." I say.
The moment I said it, I cried. The tears just flowed down my cheek. Why? How? Fucking jerk.
"He what?!" Lilly shouts standing up.
"cheated." I whisper to her.
"What a douche bag! He is seriously getting beaten up!" she says.
"How did you know?" she asks me.
"I was walking to the parking lot and I passed a janitors closet. A girl shouted his name so I waited around the corner to make sure. Then both of them walk out." I cried while I explained to her.
"Wow. He's still a douche. Guess he was lying about his dad's truck huh?" She says.
"Yep, instead he was having sex with her." I say.
"Okay. You are staying the night here. I'll call your brothers and you get some ice cream from downstairs." Lilly says.
"Thanks Lilly." I say opening her bedroom door.
"No problem. That's what friends are for!" She says back.
"Best friends forever?" I ask her.
"You're stuck with me forever." We chuckle about her comment and then I leave to go get ice cream.
