So super sorry if this chapter seems weak or bad, but it's been like forever since I've been to a wedding. But I still hope you all enjoy it!

Kara's POV

"Do you take Aaron Davis to be lawful wedded husband?" The marriage officiant asks Chantal.

"I do."

"And do you Aaron, take Chantal Sanders, to be your wife?" he asks my dad.

"I do with all my heart." My dad says with a smile and love in his eyes.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss bride." The officiant announces.

The moment he said those words, Chantal and Dad flew into each others arms. Sharing a deep enchantment kiss between each other. I stare at them, and then look down on the other side of my dad to see Asher and Sage glaring at me dad. I don't blame them, but I'm glad they are being better at accepting us as family.

"Alright everyone! To the reception!" Chantal's dad shouts.

Creating everyone to slowly make their way out of the church and to my new step-grandfather's backyard. We all arrive to the place, and make our way to the back yard, behind the garage. The backyard is huge with tables and food at one end of the yard. While on the other side, people are gathering, chatting, and drinking as well.

Landon and Colton make their way towards the food. While, Sage walks off to greet some friends and family of his. Chantal and Dad are walking around, greeting people.

"Bored?" I turn around to see Asher behind me.

"That obvious?" I ask him.

"Well yeah. Your standing all by yourself watching people."

"I barely know anybody." I tell him.

"You know me, Sage, and Merissa." He states.

"No offence, but I don't like merissa that much."

"I know. She can a bitch sometimes, but she's actually .1 percent nice." He chuckles.

"Point 1 percent? Then all the other is complete witch." We both laugh.

"She's always been that way, when we grew up. Just who she is." Asher says.

We look around at the people in the backyard. Some are new family, my family, some friends, and some strangers. I see Colton on the dance floor, with a cute girl. Being a total goof. I look over on the other side to see Landon eating and talking to our new grandparents, Chantal's parents. I've talked to them a few times, and they both are super nice.

"So you wanna dance?" I turn my head to Asher.

"Huh?"

"Well, just as sibling. You don't have to." He says.

"I would like to." I tell him.

I follow him to the dance floor, that is already crowded with people. The DJ starts playing "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke. Everyone starts moving their bodies side to side with their partners or in dance circles. I look at Asher and start moving around all goofy to the song. While he just stares down at his feet as he dances. We continued to dance for a while, till a slow song comes up. Bruno Mars', Treasure.

"Umm. This is awkward." I tell him.

"Your telling me?" Asher says.

"Well, maybe I could have a dance?" I hear a familiar voice. I turn around to see Dakoda behind me in a button down shirt and some slacks. With a shy grin placed on his lips.

"I would love to." I tell him.

Asher steps away, leaving Dakoda and I alone in a way. I wrap my arms around his neck, and he wraps his arms on my hips. We slightly sway to the song.

"You look beautiful." Koda whispers.

"Thanks. I'm glad you came." I tell him.

"Me too. I love seeing you." He tells me.

"Thanks." I say.

After the song, we decided to get something to drink. So we head over to buffet table to get some punch.

"Kara, where's the bathroom?" Koda asks.

"In the house, down the hallway. First door on the right." I tell him.

"Thanks, I'll be right back." Dakoda says before disappearing into the house.

I walk over to the end of the buffet table, slowly nibbling on some snacks. I move my glaze to my left to see Merissa walking up to me.

"Hey Kara."

Hi Merissa. what's up?" I say.

"Just wondering who that guy is you were with." She says with a smirk.

"He's my boyfriend, Dakod." I tell her. Crossing my arms over my chest.

"Boyfriend? He looks like he can do better." She snarls.

"He should date someone as rude as you? Him and I are good for each other." I say back.

"In what fantasy? Dakoda and I could have something so much more, than what you two have." Merissa says leaning in to my face.

"Yeah right. Just back off and go flirt with that guy you were with earlier. Or was he not good enough?" I state back.

"You watch your tongue, bitch! I can ruin everything for you! Make everyone think your a spoiled brat or stupid girl. Mess with every boy or person you know. Don't test me!" She whispers harshly at me.

"You don't scare me! Because, I'll just shove it right back at you!" I say back. Glaring deeply into her eyes.

"Fine. Game on!" She says before walking away.

"Hey I miss anything?" Dakoda says running back pu to me.

"Nope. Wanna dance some more?" I ask.

"Sure."

I pull him by the hand onto the dance floor. A little to roughly I didn't realize where I was going till I crashed into something. Rather someone. I look up to Sage in front of me.

"Hey, have a good time?" I ask him.

"Yeah I am." He says.

"Good. Come on Koda lets dance!" I tell him.
