**Xavier's P.O.V**
I leave out of Star Bucks with a cup of coffee and make my way across the street to the soon-to-be B&L Corporation. Brandon had left me a voice mail to meet him here and he would give a tour of the place.
How the hell did he get the money so fast?
I open the door to the building and nearly bump into someone. I stop just in time and she looks up at me.
"I'm so sorry," she says. "I wasn't really watching where I was going."
"Same here," I said. "Star bucks would do that to a person."
She laughs at my joke and I look down at the name tag on her shirt.
"My names Maria Gonzalez," she says holding her hand out.
I take her hand. "Mine is-"
"Xavier Powell, I know." She smiles. "I have to get to know all the people I'll be working with and who I'll be working for."
"So you've met Brandon already."
"Mr. Simmons? Yes I have. And I was told that there are two more I have to meet."
I'm the only one that showed up?
That's new. I'm never here on time or before Austin and sometimes I don't show up at all. Charles would come a few minutes after me if I do decide to show up, but I'll still be late to everything.
"Well you'll have all day to get to know us," I tell her before taking a long sip of my coffee.
"I'm looking forward to it," she says. I watch her as she passes me and walks out the door.
