Chapter 6

( Kailey's POV )

" Ray, when we're at work can you treat me like this never happened, I don't want everyone else knowing, at least not yet. " I ask. " Of course Kailey. Do you want to play some MineCraft? " Ray asks me kindly.  " Sure Ray, " I says with a smile. He sets up his XBOX and controllers and brings up Minecraft and we start playing on a new server. Since we'd need 2 XBOX's for the both of us to play at the same time simultaneously, we took turns. Ray, being more of a gentlemen then most people would think, let me go first.

Once the game spawned me in I immediately started getting wood and making the essentials. It soon started getting dark and I made a quick house from dirt and hand the controller to Ray  when we here a knock on the door. Ray was about to get up from his spot on the floor when I gently pushed him back down. " I'll get it Ray, Just make sure a creeper doesn't blow you up. " I say standing up and walking over to the apartment door. I open the door to see Geoff. Oh shit Geoff! What do I say?! I mentally  freak out. " Hello is Ray home? " Geoff asks curiously. " Uh yeah, I'll go get him for you..sir. " I say in my fake tired voice rubbing my eyes walking back into the apartment.

" Ray! Ray It's Geoff's here! " I whisper yell at the puerto rican. " Ray paused the game quicker then someone should be able to and looks at me in shock. " Oh Crap! Kailey go into my bed room and pretend to be asleep while I see what Geoff wants. " He whispers to me.

I nod and walk into his bed room and get under the cover and staying silent, listening closely to the conversation between my co-workers. " Ray, who was that? Are you finally getting some action  " I hear Geoff ask playfully. I feel my cheeks flush and I hide my face in a pillow. I inhale the sent of the pillow as I hide my face in it. This smells nice, This must be the pillow Ray sleeps on. I think without realize what I was even thinking.  

" W-what no Geoff! I'm not getting any action! I haven't had any in a year!.....She's one of my friends I made when I lived in New York she's just visiting me for a few weeks. " I hear Ray say. Nice save Ray. I think. " Haha Well anyways, I forgot tell you earlier everyone's coming over for dinner at the Ramsey House and I for got to invite you and Kabrean. If you want you can bring your friend. Also do you know where Kabrean is staying? " Geoff asks.

" Thanks sure I'll take you up on that offer, and I don't know he said he'd text me in the morning so that I could pick him up and we could car pool. Plus you said he came from San Francisco, He must be tired from Jet-lag so I think he'd probably like to sleep. Just ask Gav, he knows about jet lag! but YOLO! We'll be ready in a few minutes Geoff. " Ray says quickly. " Ok Ray. I'll wait outside. " Geoff says. I hear his footsteps walking away and the door close.

Once I was sure the coast was clear I jump out of Rays' bed and go back to the living room.  Ray turns around to face me with a look of relief on his face and then a smile formed on his lips. " Well you heard Mr. Ramsey. We're invited to dinner! Get your ass ready Kailey! " Ray shouts. " OKEDOKE RAY! Wait... where should I change? " I ask. " You can get ready in the bathroom. " Ray says motioning through the little mini hall from his bedroom to the bathroom. I quickly get a random outfit  and my hair brush from my suitcase and quickly hurry into Rays bathroom. Rays'  house is so clean and neat. Respect level for him from me + 10. I think. 

When I come out I'm in a gray sweater, denim shorts, black converse, and My YOLO bracelet. I see Ray by the door in his ' LLLLLLLLET'S PLAY ' shirt, shorts, and checkered vans. " Well lets' not keep Geoff waiting any longer. " Ray laughs holding out his hand for me to take. "Agreed. Lets' go. " I say taking his hand as we walk out the door
