( Kailey's POV)
After Burnie said Geoff was coming I scurry to open my backpack and get my beanie. Burnie gives me a look that has confusion written all over it. I quickly throw my hair into a ponytail leaving out my side swept bangs, then putting on the beanie, and finally pushing my hair into the beanie. " Why did you do that? " Burnie asks. " Well if your going to present me as a boy I cant have my long hair out. " I state looking down at my hands as I hear the door opening.
" Hey Burnie what did you want to talk a- uh who's this? " I hear the person who just came in say. That must be Goeff. I think to myself. " Hey Geoff thanks for coming so fast. This is Kabrean Randell. He's from San Francisco and I emailed him asking if he wanted to work here at Rooster Teeth and he said of course. He's going to be your newest Achievement Hunter. Oh almost forgot; Kabrean this is Geoff Ramsey he'll be your well sort of boss when your in the Achievement Hunter office. " Burnie says happily. " It's nice to meet you Geoff. " I say. " It's nice to meet you too Kabrean. Now let me take you to our office so you can meet the rest of the Achievement Hunters. " Geoff says walking out the door with me close behind him. I give one last glance to Burnie and mouth a silent ' Thank you ' before racing down the stairs to catch up with Geoff.
Once we get to the office Geoff opens the door and everyone inside stares at me and I sudden feel very self conscious being around the 6 guys. " Hey guys this is Kabrean Randell, he's the newest Achievement Hunter and he's just starting today you can introduce yourselves when he's all setteled in. " Geoff says. Once everyone went back to what they were doing and not staring at me the self consciousness metled away. " Hey Geoff, where's my desk going to be? " I ask. " Well what I'm going to do it remove this metal shelf that's between Jack and I's desk and put a desk there, set up a computer, a tv, a mic, and an XBOX for you get a set of head phones while I'm at it. For now though, I get your stuff all set up on the shelf and I'll go get you a chair and you'll have to work off the shelf till the new desk arrives which Burnie probably already ordered before he picked you up from the airport. Does that sound ok? " Geoff asks. " Yeah that sounds awesome thanks Geoff. " I say as he leaves the office to go get me a chair.
" Hey you can sit here with me if you'd like. " I hear a deep voice say from the couch. " Oh ok thanks " I say sitting down next to the man. " I'm Ryan Haywood it's nice to meet you Kabrean. " Ryan said. " It's nice to meet you too Ryan thanks for the seat, I have a feeling it's gonna take a while to find a free chair in this place it seems like everyone needs one. " I laugh. " Yeah it maybe a bit pluse Geoff gets side tracked sometimes, but don't worry just make yourself at home we're your new family and we welcome you into it. " Ryan smiles. Wow this guy is nice. I think I may not mind working with 6 guys everyday. I think happily to myself.
