A day to ourselves

Aphmau's pov

I watched as Garroth fell asleep with Levin and I smiled. 'He is going to be a great dad.' I though as I walked into my room. I crawled into my bed and started to fall asleep when I felt someone hug me from behind. My heart almost jumped out of my chest until I heard Garroth's voice saying "Don't worry, its just me." I relaxed and he hugged me. "I thought you were sleeping in Levin's room?"

I felt his breath on my neck and he said "I was until he kicked me off the bed." I let out a giggle and he said "Why are you laughing?!" I started laughing harder and he rolled me over so I was facing him. I stopped and stared into his diamond blue eyes and he smiled. "I love you Aphmau." I blushed and he kissed me. His kisses made my heart speed up and I hugged him.

"I love you too." I whispered in his ear and his cheeks were tinged a little pink and it made me smile. I ended up falling asleep and when I felt the sun on my face, I knew it was morning. I started to think everything yesterday was a dream until I felt someone behind me. I smiled and kissed Garroth on his cheek and got up. I walked downstairs and didn't see Zoey.

Then, I saw a note and picked it up. It read, Dear Aphmau, I wanted to let you spend time with your soon to be husband so I took Levin and Malachi out to Dale's. -Zoey. I smiled and put the note down. I decided to cook breakfast and I grabbed some toast. I cooked some bacon and eggs and set them onto two plates. I set the table and I heard the stairs creek.

I looked over and Garroth was rubbing his eyes. I started to giggle because he looked like a child. "Morning." He jumped at my speaking and he smiled. "Morning." He yawned. When he saw the plates his eyes lit up and he looked at me. "I made breakfast." I said in a sweet voice and he gave me a quick peck on the cheek and thanked me. We sat down, ate and talked.

After we finished eating Garroth wanted to go outside for a minute so I waited. I didn't notice he was back in until I felt something cold on my neck. "Ahhh!" I let out a yelp when I noticed Garroth put ice in my shirt. He was laughing and I was jumping around trying to get the ice out. "You jerk!" I laughed and I threw bread at him. He stood shocked but then we ended up having a bread fight.

Garroth's pov

When I was laying in the bed I felt two little feet kicking me in the back. I looked over and saw Levin and he shoved me out of the bed. I fell onto the floor and tried everything I could to stop myself from laughing. I tiptoed out of the room and went to Aphmau's. I crawled in bed with Aphmau and hugged her from behind. She jumped and I whispered "Don't worry, its just me."

She relaxed and snuggled into me. "I thought you were sleeping with Levin?" I playfully frowned and said "He kicked me out." She started to giggle and I blushed "S-Stop laughing!" As soon as I said that she started laughing harder and I rolled her over so she was looking at me. I looked into her glittering brown eyes and I smiled and said "I love you Aphmau. She blushed and I felt my own face become warm.

I kissed her and I could feel her heart racing against my chest. "I love you too." She whispered and I felt relaxed. She ended up falling asleep. I entwined her hair in my fingers and kissed her lightly on the nose. I smiled at her sleeping face and I started to drift off to sleep. When I woe up in the morning I noticed Aphmau was gone. I smelt bacon and got up.

My stomach growled and I walked downstairs. I rubbed my eyes and I heard Aphmau giggle. "Morning." I jumped, not expecting her to be in the kitchen but soon I returned the good morning. When I saw the bacon and eggs on the table, I could feel my stomach growl and I kissed her cheek and sat down. We talked and after breakfast I wanted to do something. I excused myself and walked outside.

I grabbed a small piece of ice and hid it behind my back. I walked back into the house and walked up behind Aphmau. I opened the back of her shirt and dropped the ice. She let out a small scream and I laughed. She started jumping around trying to get the ice out of her shirt and it made me laugh harder. She yelled that I was a jerk and threw bread at my face.

I was shocked and picked the bread up. I threw it at her and that was the beginning of a bread war. After about an hour,Aphmau made me clean up all the bread laying around the floor while she went into the basement. 'When should we make the wedding?' I thought as I picked up the last piece of bread. I needed to ask her and I walked downstairs.
