One And Only

Waking up back home

Aphmau's pov

I didn't wake up until late in the night. I looked around and I was at home.....this time for real. The room was dark and the only light I had was the light from the moon. I yawned and felt something beside me. I looked over and saw Garroth sleeping next to me. I smiled and hugged Garroth tightly and tears streamed down my face. I hugged Garroth hoping we would be together forever.

I ended up falling asleep and I was awoken by the sound of the door opening. I looked up and saw Garroth walk out the door. "Garroth." I said and stood up. I ran out the door and saw Garroth in the kitchen. Garroth was standing in the kitchen and his arm was covering his eyes and I could hear sobs escape his lips. "Garroth!" I called out to him and hugged him.

"I-I a-am so glad y-you're safe!" Garroth yelled and cried "I-I thought I l-lost you!" I hugged Garroth tighter and we kissed. "Mama!" Levin yelled and I hugged both my sons along with my husband. "Aphmau." Garroth said as he cupped my cheeks "Do not ever worry us like that again." I nodded and smiled at Garroth. "What happened Garroth?" I asked and Garroth rubbed my cheek.

"When you were stabbed by Zane you ended up getting poisoned by his blade so you were dying. I guess your Magicks activated and you went to another dimension trying to go back to a life where you were also dying but where you were saved. Lucinda and Travis got me to the dimension and I am so happy I saved you in time.....and...you might want to thank Zoey....she saved you too." Garroth said and I nodded.

I went downstairs into the basement and I saw a girl with light blond hair looking out the window. "Z-Zoey?" I asked and she turned around to look at me. Zoey smiled and I ran and hugged her. "What happened to your hair Zoey?" I asked and Zoey pulled away from me and said "I'm so glad you're safe. Aphmau....I'm happy that I was able to help save you."

"Zoey what happened?" I asked and Zoey smiled sadly. "I will be able to age with everyone else too Aphmau. The poison that was in your blood had a very powerful barrier and the only way to remove it was to.....give up immortality but...it was worth it. I always wanted to know what it was like to age and not watch everyone around us die of old age."

I looked down feeling guilty and Zoey said "It's not your fault Aphmau. This was my own decision." I hugged Zoey and left. I was glad that Zoey wasn't mad at me but I took her immortality away. It has been three years after the incident and Garroth, Levin, Malachi, and I are living a normal life. "Hey Aphmau, do you wanna go out to eat?" Garroth asked and I smiled at him and said "Sure."

(Thank you all for reading! Sadly, this is the end chapter and there isn't going to be a fourth book. Sorry it had to end but I thought it would be a good time to end this book on this chapter. Honestly I was running out of ideas but anyway! After I am done with Pirate of Meteli and the sequel to Arranged I will be making a Garrmau highschool fanfic and I an always open to suggestions so thank you all! Bye my Ender pearls!)
