Bringing Aphmau back

Garroth's pov

I looked at Travis and we both chased after the imp. As we ran through the trees I thought I saw Aphmau. I stopped and grabbed Travis' shirt collar and choked him making him stop. "*cough, cough* What was that for!?" He yelled and I shushed him. He frowned at me and I said "I think I just saw Aphmau." Travis nodded and I ran the direction I saw her.

When I reached her, she was looking at this tree with an orb on top. I was about to call out to her but then a bright light consumed her and I yelled out "Aphmau!" I ran to where she was standing and I froze. I looked at the orb and yelled "Give her back!" I heard Travis gasp and look down. "What?" I asked and he looked upset. "Aphmau....she is......with the......Demon Warlock."

I froze and stared at Travis in shock. I couldn't even speak and I was scared. "Is Aphmau okay!?" I yelled in concern and Travis shrugged his shoulders and said "I-I don't know." I clenched my fist until my knuckles turned white and I was scared. "Aphmau....please." I said and I looked up at the orb. It was on top of the tree and I grabbed one of the branches. I climbed up the tree and looked at the middle of the orb.

It was shining and I touched the side of it hoping something would happen but no, nothing. I sighed and climbed back down the tree. About an hour of waiting passed and I grew restless. "Travis, when will she come out?" I asked but Travis didn't answer. "Step aside." I heard a voice speak and I turned around and saw Aaron. "Move." He said and I stepped away from the tree.

Aaron was holding his sword and he leaped forward slamming into the middle of the orb with the tip of his sword. The orb exploded and we were shot back with a large blast of wind and everything went white. When the white faded I saw Aphmau laying on the ground holding Levin and Malachi in her arms. "Aphmau!" I yelled as I scrambled to get over to her.

I fell to my knees and hugged Aphmau. She was unconscious but breathing and I sighed a breath of relief. I looked at Levin and Malachi's faces making sure they were okay and I gathered them all in a hug. Aphmau still had ahold of the two and I picked them all up. "Travis, Aaron, are you guys okay?" I asked and Travis nodded and Aaron walked back in the direction of the boat.

"Let's get back to Asmunds." I said and Travis nodded agreeing. We walked back to Asmunds and Travis knocked on the door. Helen answered and she smiled at Travis but when she saw Aphmau and the kids she gasped. "Come in, come in." She said and we walked inside. Katelyn was sitting next to the fire staring at the flames with a drink. "Katelyn." I said and she looked at me.

"Aphmau!" She yelled and ran to me. "Get them on the couch." Helen said and I set Aphmau on the couch and picked up Levin and Malachi and set them on the other couch. I looked at their faces and smiled. These two are going to be my sons. I hugged them tight and Helen came up. "Here." She said as she handed me a cup of tea. I thanked her and sat on the floor watching over all three of them.
