Andys P.O.VI stepped into the bunk room and saw Harlow laying in her bunk. I think she may have been reading or something. I walked over to her bunk and came face to face with her, noticing her tear stainded cheeks. As soon as she saw me she tunred the other way.
"Listen, I know what I did was really fucking shitty. But could you just hear me out?"
She sighed as if she was weighing up her choices in her head before she turned to me. I smiled slightly.
"Okay. The reason that I didn't want Juliet to know that you're my daughter is because I don't know how ready she is for such a large commitment. Yeah, I've been with her for ages but still, you need to understand that it is a big responsibilty to undertake."
Harlows P.O.V
I was listening to Andy explain himself and I completely get it, but he could have spoken to me about it beforehand other than just suprising me like that.
"Well, I accept your apology, but you could have spoken to me about it earlier," I said.
"I know, it was a dick move but I truly am sorry." He apologised.
"It's fine." I gave him a small smile and a quick hug.
"Do we have a show tonight?"
"Yes," He spoke, "It starts at 7. Have you and the band been rehearsing?
I nodded.
"Good, we should start getting ready." He said before getting off my bunk and heading to the loungeroom area. I decided to get up and take a shower and start getting ready because according to everyone on the bus I take "years" to get ready.
I did my usual shower routine. Once I was finished in the shower I applied my usual makeup, but added in some stage makeup, taking inspiration from Andy. (A/N: I know they don't wear the stage makeup/paint anymore, this is purely for writings sake.)
I picked out my outfit which consisted of a maroon red coloured sweater, some ripped black skinny jeans and a black beanie. It was rather basic, but it was pretty cold tonight and I didn't really feel like dressing up all too much.
I finished getting ready around the same time as Mckenzie, Mason and Hunter. We ran over all the covers we'd be playing and came up with a setlist. We'd be playing five songs.
Lonely Girl by Tonight Alive, If You Can't Hang by Sleeping With Sirens, Knives and Pens by Black Veil Brides, Weightless by All Time Low and Mama by My Chemical Romance. We decided to keep a few songs for all of the shows but mostly change up the setlist for each different show. Once we were done it was time to head to the stage. To say I am nervous would be an understatement.
We could hear the crowd as we were standing side stage. I peeked around the curtain and saw a crowd of around 1,000 people. It was somewhat of a small gig, but for a bands first performance it was pretty major.
Andy walked out onto the stage and the crowd roared.
"How's everyone doing tonight?" He said into the mic. The crowed cheered once again.
"I would like to introduce our opening act. Their name is Catastrophe and tonight is their very first show as a band! Some of you would know of my daughter Harlow, she is the lead singer of the band. On bass, we have Mason!"
Mason walked onto the stage with a huge smile while waving to the cheering crowd.
"On drums we have Hunter!" Andy called and Hunter walked out.
"On guitar we have Mckenzie!,"
"And finally, on vocals and guitar, Harlow!"
I walked out onto the stage with a smile on my face and took my place.
I watched Andy walk off stage and we prepared for the first song, and my nerves kicked in once again.
