Twenty.

( Authors Note; I'm currently editing this entire story, so please excuse any spelling mistakes in this chapter. )
I spent the rest of the night hanging out with Josh, just talking and stuff.
"Do you want to take a walk?" Josh asked.
"Sure, ill just go and let Andy know." I said. I walked across the room to try to find Andy amongst the many band members and others.
Once i found him i said, "Im going for a walk with Josh, we shouldnt be long."
"Okay," he said "but be careful- its dark out."
And with that we set off out of the pub and down the street.
We were having a casual conversation, when Josh dropped a bomb on me that shattered my beaten and tattered heart to pieces.
"So, I've met a girl since I've seen you last." He said, smiling like it was his biggest life achievement.
I've liked Josh since day one, so this sucks ass. I never really told anyone, I was way too shy to even tell Reed and i've known him for years. But for the sake of Josh's happiness, I need to pretend to be happy for him. Even if it breaks me in two.
"Really? Whats her name?" I asked.
"Kylie," he said. "Shes amazing. We met at a party that someome from our homeroom class was holding. After that we just hit it off amd we have been inseparable ever since."
As his story went on, I zoned out. I didn't want to hear it anymore. I couldn't take it.
"Hey uh, do you think we could head back to the pub? Its a bit chilly put and i'm quite tired." I asked. In all honesty, I wasnt that tired. I just didnt want to be around him anymore.
So with that, we set off back to the pub.
Once there, Josh and Envy had to go back to their parents hotel because they had an early flight the next morning to their vacation destination. When they were saying goodbye to everyone I snuck off to the restroom. I couldn't deal with the stress. Once I was certain they were gone I went back out tonthe main room. Reed was sat on a couch looking pretty down. He didnt know the next time he'd see his girlfriend. I'd be sad too.
"You okay?" I asked as I plonked myself down next to him.
"Yeah, ill get over it," he said. "But enough of me, are YOU okay? You've seemed down a bit tonight."
I knew someone would have brought it up sooner rather than later.
"I'm fine, just tired." I said. I wasnt completely lying, i was completely burned out.
"Cmon, you're my best friend. I know when you're lying Harlow. Spill."
