Twenty Eight.

I smiled at Cody as we walked to the bus. We got to the door and I grabbed his arm.
"Don't be too nervous," I said, "they're just normal people" I smiled.
He shyly smiled at me. I must admit, the kids adorable.
I opened the bus door and I was greeted by a loud and busy situation. Annie was cooking dinner while the guys were messing around with each other but stopped when they noticed myself and Cody at the door with horrified expressions on our faces.
"Well, this isn't a great first impression" I said which caused everyone to erupt into a fit of laughter.
"I am so sorry, we're not normally this... frantic" Jinxx said.
"Ah, it's all good" Cody replied.
"Dinners up!" Annie yelled grabbing everyone's attention.
We had a table that was able to extend out but we normally kept it in because no one ate at the dinner table normally, but in this case where we have guests we pulled it out. Cody and myself sat at the end of the table.
"So, I see you've made a friend." Ash smirked.
"Yes, exactly, a FRIEND" I replied, trying to pull off a straight face because I knew exactly what he was hinting.
I could see from the corner of my eye that Andy and Juliet were giggling in the corner. I just playfully rolled my eyes at them and continued to pick at my food.
We all finished dinner and decided to just hang out in the lounge area. It was rather cramped, but we all had a good time just talking about nothing. I got to know Cody pretty well and he actually started to open up to me a bit which I felt satisfied about. I told him about me too. Most of these things I'd only tell Reed, but he kind of doesn't talk to me anymore. Which I'm actually really upset about but I'd never show it.
The night was coming to and end and Annie and Cody had to head back to the crew bus. I was sad to say goodbye to him but we made plans to go and watch the Pierce The Veil set tomorrow. I was secretly really, really excited about it. But at the same time I was nervous. I cannot be getting feelings for this guy. I barely know him!
