- During Band Practice -
"Guys, we need to think about songs. I know tour is a month away but if we're the supporting act that means we need to fill a time slot. What kind of music do you guys mainly play?" I asked. I'm hoping we all have similar tastes so this job won't be so hard.
"I'm mainly a punk/alternative guy. But I do listen to some more rock type of stuff." Hunter added. Thank god, someone likes the stuff I like.
We all agreed that punk/alternative would be our band style. Now it was time to think of songs.
After lots of debating, we decided to practice a pop punk version of sweater weather by the neighbourhood. I loved both versions of that song, so it didn't take long for me to agree.
I realised that we also did not have a drum kit as of yet, so I have to ask CC if we can borrow his until we raise some money to buy one ourselves.
The band and I marched upstairs from the basement to the lounge room where everyone was watching a Batman movie. I think you know who chose that movie.
"Hey, CC!" I whisper-yelled, trying not to disturb the other guys from the overplayed movie.
"Can we borrow your drums? We haven't got any yet." I said with puppy dog eyes. This always worked.
"Sure, but don't break anything!" He chuckled. Thank god. I don't know what we would've done if he had said no.

It's about 7pm when the band finally left after practice. I think we all sound really good together, I just hope it's good enough for the crowd we'll be playing in front of.
I was sitting with the band and my dad when I thought of something.
"Hey, dad?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"You told me you're going on tour, but you didn't mention what type of tour. Are you headlining or is it a festival tour?"
"It's warped tour." He smiled.
Oh my god. I'm going to warped tour, and even better, I'm playing there!
"Oh my god! Why didn't you me?" I exclaimed. I am way more excited, if that's even possible.
"We wanted to surprise you, but I see you're already excited enough" Jinxx laughed.
