~Sam's Point of View~
Jungkook yawned loudly. We were all in the kitchen, having breakfast.
"Tired?" Suga asked gently, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm fine." Jungkook said shortly, brushing off Suga's hand. I saw Yoongi's slightly worried expression, but he didn't say anything else.
"So, today, we're all going out together, it's been a while!" Namjoon smiled. Jungkook looked over at Jin and was about to protest but Jin firmly shook his head at him, and Jungkook just frowned but decided against arguing. A few gazes drifted in my direction, but I just smiled, indicating that I also wasn't going to back out of it. How bad could things go?~time skip - Jungkook's Point of View~
Everyone else rushed to get seats in the minibus for some reason, and so Sam and I ended up next to each other. She leaned away from me, staring out of window. Occasionally her arm brushed mine as we drove along, and I resisted the urge to hold her hand, looking in the other direction. Suddenly, the vehicle drove over a big pothole and made a sudden brake... I saw Sam jerk forward and grabbed her in time before her head hit the seat in front.
"Jin Hyung, drive carefully!" I scolded lightly, before realising I still had my hands on her, and she was staring at me. I let go like she was a hot plate and faced the other way, so she wouldn't see my face turn red.
"Th-thanks," She stuttered out, and I nodded, still not looking at her.
"I won't bite, you know," I snapped, annoyed that she was pressed against the door, leaving space between us. There was an awkward pause before Sam shuffled slowly into a more normal position in the middle of the seat, and I felt her shoulder against mine. I sighed and stared at the floor.~time skip - Suga's Point of View~
"Yoongi, seriously, this is so annoying!" Sam laughed, as she tried for the countless time to pick up the plush toy she wanted out of the arcade machine.
"You're terrible as this!" I teased her, and she giggled. "Tell me something I don't know. Aren't you supposed to be good at this?" She asked.
I caught Jungkook in the corner of my eye, watching us. She was right; I am pretty good at these machines, but I had a better idea.
"I'm going to go find J-Hope cos I have to ask him something, but you know who is good at these? Jungkook! I know he's the one you really want to come help you..." I quickly turned and scurried off before she could say anything, grinning to myself.~Jungkook's Point of View~
I watched Suga hurry off smiling, and Sam looked taken aback. Her face then suddenly dropped, her eyes filling with sadness. I felt so bad, but why... She was the one who said she didn't care about me, so why is she so upset?
Without thinking I walked up behind her.~Sam's Point of View~
Yoongi why'd you have to say that...
I sighed, and turned back to the machine. As much I wanted Jungkook with me I knew it wasn't a possibility. Suddenly I felt someone come up behind me.
"God, it's really not that difficult." Jungkook placed his hand on mine which was on the joystick, and manoeuvred it with precise movements, and in no time the plush teddy was in my hands. It was a deep maroon colour, with a smiling face and was holding a pink rose. He let go of my hand; my skin warm from his touch that sent tingles up my arm.
"Thanks," I mumbled, and he nodded, not looking at me. I, on the other hand, observed his face. There was no smile, and his brow was furrowed. What even happened? Why are we like this?
"I can't see the others," Jungkook stated, glancing around. That was true, they were no where to be seen.
"Well, I guess... Erm..." I said randomly, unable to take the awkwardness. "Well we can call-""Oh I like this one, I can beat you easily I bet," He interrupted, walking over to a basketball hoop-shooting game he spotted.
What?
"Actually I'm quite good at this..." I smiled, and followed him, standing next to him, as he looked down at me and smirked.
"Let's go then, Sam."
I looked at his questioning eyes, watching to see if I walk away and ignore him still, or put it aside and take up the challenge. As much as I was upset with him, I still loved him, of course. So I wouldn't walk away and would do anything for him.
"You're on, Jungkook."~Beth's Point of View~
Taehyung, Suga and I watched the pair from their little hiding spot. We'd made sure to keep hidden after Suga left Sam, because we knew that Jungkook, no matter what, wouldn't just leave her on her own when they couldn't find any of us. And it was better than we thought - we could hear them passing comments, as their competitive nature made them forget about everything else. I smiled - it was good to see them: it was a start.

I placed my new teddy next to the first one Jungkook won for me back in the beginning of summer, which was on the shelf. I grabbed his hoodie (yes, I still hadn't given it back yet) and got into bed, thinking about the day. As soon as we've finished the game and Jungkook lost to me by a mere point, we shared a smile before remembering; the awkwardness returned and we both looked away. We went off in search of the others and found them, and didn't talk after that. I sighed and hugged the hoodie. I guess it'll just stay like this.
