~Mina's Point of View~
My phone beeped and I picked it up, slightly surprised by what the message said. Interesting. I quickly replied, before falling asleep.
~time skip - the next morning - Mina's Point of View~
Where is she? Beth had asked me to meet her at the park for some reason, but didn't say why. Maybe something about V? No, she would ask Sam or one of the BTS boys for advice. I wonder what she wants to talk to me about..
Just then someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around to see Beth smiling at me, and I smiled back.
"Hey," I greeted, as we sat down on the bench. "So what did you want to talk to me about?"
Beth shifted on her seat uncomfortably, before starting,"Well..."-10 minutes later-
"You can't tell them, please! They'll all hate me," I cried, trying to make Beth see. "I don't want Jungkook to hate me..."
She sighed and tucked her hair behind her ear. "But don't you see how it's hurting both of them? You need to put it right!"
I put my head in my hands. I knew she was right, but Jungkook was my friend, and I didn't want him to hate me.
"But what can I do? I don't want to lose him..."
Beth thought for a moment, before suggesting, "Just tell Sam at least, it's really not fair to her. Or him, but just tell her first. And if you don't, I'll have to, but she's more likely to understand if you tell her yourself." With that, she stood up. I nodded, and stood up too.
"Hang on, let me call Sam here," Beth informed me as I started to form in my head what I was going to say.-30 minutes later - Sam's Point of View-
"So that's what happened. I'm really sorry Sam... I shouldn't have, I was a bad friend. I should have just let him be happy with whoever, but I ruined it for him and you..." Mina put her face in her hands. I stared at her, utterly shocked. I knew I should have been mad with her, but... I was relieved. Jungkook didn't hate me! It wasn't even me he was talking about! I just wanted to run home and go hug him and tell him I'm sorry...
"It's okay Mina! Really, just... Well I'm glad you told me. Now I can tell Jungkook and-"
"No!" She interrupted. "You can't tell him... He'll hate me!" She said, grabbing my arm with wide eyes. But... How will I be able to make it up to him without telling him?
But Mina was looking at me, and I couldn't refuse. "Okay..."
She smiled and hugged me. The three of us walked back to the house, Mina walking to her own. Now what do I do?
Both of us had forgotten our key, and so we knocked on the door. It was Jungkook who opened it. He swung it open and walked back inside without a word. I had to resist running up to him and hugging him, telling him it was a misunderstanding. I need to persuade Mina to let me tell him...~Suga's Point of View~
"Hey, have you heard this?!" I exclaimed, after ending the call with our manager.
"What?" Jimin questioned, as the others settled in the sofas.
"We're going to a ball!"
All of their eyes widened.
"A ball?"
"As in a ball where you dance?"
"I can't ballroom dance!"
"When?"
"Why?"
"What!"
Mayhem broke out as everyone started talking at once. "Shut up!" I shouted, to quieten them all.
"It's tomorrow, they apologise for the late notice. And we don't have a choice, we have to go, there'll be some editors and press and people we have to meet there, and it's good to socialise. And it's supposed to be fun, apparently..." I told them what I'd been told on the phone. "And one more thing... It's a masquerade ball, so everyone has to wear a mask."
The chatter erupted again. Beth and Sam were jumping up and down in delight, discussing dresses; Jimin and V were teasing Rapmon that he would stand on the girls' toes when he danced with them; J-Hope and Jin were laughing about something else, and Jungkook was deep in thought.
"You boys will look so smart!" Sam clapped her hands in delight, and Beth hugged V, telling him he had to dance with her, which he agreed with a grin. Sam looked over at Jungkook, who was just looking at the floor. Suddenly she smiled as if she'd thought of something, but he didn't see it. I wonder what idea she's just come up with...~Sam's Point of View~
Yoongi pulled me aside when no one was looking.
"I saw that look on your face, what are you thinking?" He winked.
I grinned, and after telling him what Mina explained (well, she only said not to tell Jungkook, she didn't specify anyone else!) I told him my little idea.
"Hey, that could work..." He mused, and nodded in agreement. "So shall I ring Mina and invite her? I'll have to ask the manager but I'm sure it won't be a problem."
I nodded, and smiled. This should sort it out; because we all knew Jungkook was stubborn - he wouldn't listen to me if I tried to explain, but this might just be it...
